I love this video; it made my Sunday great watching it. The pure white sand beaches of Holbox look superb and pristine. Patty is very happy to see you!
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Flamingo hotel and let me tell you it was so luxurious and spacious! I loved the whole experience AND we went to see Bio-luminescence...Can't wait to go back and do it again oh and this time we're heading to Bacalar as well. oh! one downside to holbox was take cash since their internet/wifi goes down quite often.
Good content! And thank you for letting me know about the parking! I’m planning to drive so this was wonderful! And I love pizza and I will check out the hotel for $45 bucks.
Amazing and very detailed video guys thank you so much very helpful for someone who never been there.. one question did you notice if they had bicycles for toddlers for little kids to ride with parents or even one bike that can take one parent and one kid along together, having a hard time to find out that..thank you!!
Thank you!! And that’s a very good question!! I would google the bike rental shops on the island and message them. I couldn’t find any reviews on a quick google search that confirmed. You could always rent a golf cart which I’m sure the kids would love!
Great video! We're going to stay at Hotel Para Ti per your recommendation. Do you remember what type of room you were staying at? There are so many options and different websites show different information on their rooms - I'm having a hard time deciding....lol. Thank you for an awesome video!
The rooms at Hotel Para Ti all have names. We stayed in the room named “Vida,” listed as the “Super Luxury” room on their website with a King-sized bed on the upstairs level. It was also located at the very end which we loved! Have a great trip!!
My friend and I are arriving in a few days to Holbox... so excited! I saw most of your meals were plant based.. that's awesome! I'm plant based and I was worried there wouldn't be many options. I might have to try out Kite Boarding.... Thank you for all the tips and cute doggo! Any last minute advice?
It's amazing that Mexico can still be so affordable! I remember my first trip to Mexico about 20 years ago, a long 3-day weekend in Mexico City. I stayed at a boutique hotel in the Zona Rosa and had a beautiful suite paying an amazingly low price. As for my spending money, I'd budgeted $100 per day. Incredibly even after eating at the best restaurants it was impossible to spend even near that much! Thanks for your informative videos guys!
Absolutely! We always feel we get incredible, friendly service and excellent value in Mexico! I think you could easily manage that in Mexico City and the Zona Rosa today too!!
My husband and I woke up one night in Tulum to find a raccoon in our room, eating from a bowl of fruit. It was a little unnerving, but to compensate, the hotel upgraded us to a much nicer room for the rest of our stay. So we always looked back at that little raccoon as a gift.

Great video! How’s the sargassum in Holbox now?
Thank you! It’s pretty nonexistent. Especially on Punta Cocos!! It’s where you go to get away from it!!! Or the cenotes of course!

Shut up zzzztwo pi dah
Did you guys find problems with the trash and mosquitoes?
Not trash, but always bring repellant. The mosquitoes don’t like me, but they love Andy 😂
Would u say it’s pretty safe there?
100% it’s a small island community. Very friendly and happy place.
What time of year is this?
May (shoulder season).
I'm here now
Do either of you speak Spanish? If not, how was it navigating the island?
Very easy. No worries. We’ve not been anywhere in Mexico that google translate on our phone couldn’t assist when needed.
My husband and I woke up one night in Tulum to find a raccoon in our room, eating from a bowl of fruit. It was a little unnerving, but to compensate, the hotel upgraded us to a much nicer room for the rest of our stay. So we always looked back at that little raccoon as a gift.
Wow! What an amazing story!!! Thanks for sharing!!
Amazing video, but it’s pronounced Hole-bush :) in Spanish :) a lot mispronounce it
Except it’s not Spanish but Mayan so it’s hol bosch ;)

How Gay friendly is the island?
Very in our experience! As you can see in the video, we saw gay couples holding hands on the beach 🌈❤️
