Wow the updated orbital exchange interface is super awesome! I tested it in the first mission to get some crop plots. The new frontier dlc makes me want to stay home from work lol 😂 love the new biomes on the new map.
I am new to the game and was leveling up in the "old" maps and while it was a little annoying losing everything on each mission I got used to it. I didn't want to start the open world new map until I got a feel for the game and tbh I do not think I will now play the open world just for the fact I like completing an objective and open world seems to be more of a pain than losing everything. At least with the standard maps you have a mission and you go and do it rather than having to make several bases all over the place.
A few questions: Do the sledgehammer resources (clay, obsidian etc) respawn? Do ya'll use rain collectors, if so which storms add water to it? What's your drop key? You seem to drop items often. What is your opinion on having to travel to different biomes to get different ore?

Any storm your out in and you get wet in water is collecting. I personally don't use it just river water) What's your drop key? reinforced glass gets stone walls strenght equivalent. meaning they get through most of the storms except for the red ones (and heavy orange if i remember correctly) if you want them to survive this aswell, just put a halfwall (directed outside) above it (prefereably concrete) @@Iamonepercent

orbital exchange interface works with the old maps as well without the dlc. i wasnt sure if you could send thing back but glad they added that as well

I cannot figure out the "frosted alteration" for the wood when chopping wood with the Cold Steel Axe. Anyone?

How is your glass not breaking?
When you have it hooked up with water it becomes stronger.
You can get reinforced Glass by hooking the bench to water.
