I tried this track for the first time yesterday in the Challenge, after watching your track guide. No idea how, but I managed to win my split after little-to-no practice. Enjoyed it a lot. Thanks for the guide!
I was the Ben & jerrys car that got spun in front of you lol. It’s good to see you in races though, your track guides have helped me get on pace in the past so keep up the good work!
I was going in the split 3 at the same time than you. It was mega slippery there too :-D Thanks for your guides, they are very helpful when trying to find speed.
That's the new tempest weather system and iRacing is completely over using the feature. Even if you have no rain, they make the conditions extremely humid, so you get the worst grip possible. and on top of that everything looks grey and depressing. I don't know what they're trying to achieve, but in the FF1600 (open setup), there is now a 65% chance of rain in every single race on the schedule. It's ridiculous. They're going to alienate some of their customer base, If they continue like this.
I'd imagine they are pushing it more this season than they will in the future, just because it's new and people will want to try it out in real races. It also helps them gather data and feedback to make adjustments.
TBH i was away for a few years and I find it near impossible to drive the MX-5 it's super twitchy, even the slightest application of braking will send you for a spin :/
That was wild going into that smoke blind lol.. Cant believe it worked out.

the gr86 in the wet feels like it has more grip than the mx5 in the dry on the tracks this week. Crazy.

Track is super fun but def ould be more fun with an open set up. Track is a little slick but I think it's due to the baseline set up.

Check the temperature. It was pretty cold

Why that 1.3 sec slow down in lap 8?
I cut the corner to much :(
That was a very small cut with such a big penalty...this system should be updated, not fair
Yeah it was to hard totally agree
@@Erilla01 Davecam already analized this phenomen, that 1 sec slowdown penalty costs around 3-4 at least...
