People just reverse back on track, or even see you and just turn in like; yeah, you need to brake man. All that because they might lose 1 place. Jokes on them, they wrecked as well and lost it all......

One of the worst weeks on iracing for me. Did Pcup at VIR until wednesday, horrible driving and many accidents. Then switched to GT4 Red Bull ring, which i didnt own before and it seems to be off track city, pff.

GT4 hype! This is a fun track.

I've been mostly racing GT4s this season and I'm sorely missing your track guides every week. Thankfully I've learned a lot of fundamentals from watching your guides during my MX-5 & GR86 days! 😃 I came back this week just to race this track and as always, thank you for the guide! ♥

Was getting 1:37.9 and couldn't find any additional time. This guide made realise I can gain some significant time in both T1 and T6

You and Sambo are always within about a tenth of each other. It tells me you’re both probably doing something right.

Sorry to write this, but this week is rain (with this car on this track). Would it be possible to get a rain example anytime in the future. I get the theory of a rain line, but have problems finding it.

coming from ac and acc, mostly driven GT cars - one question was coming up in my mind. the mx5 does have abs, why aren't you braking 100% and instead just break like 50%?

Kind of wish the trackmap was on the laps as well cause if you are learning the track you still confused as to which turn it is 3:58 new lap

0:08 Turn 5 > 95% Turn 6 > 95% Turn 9 > 95% Turn 11 > 30 to 50 % Turn 13 > 95 to 98% (5:10 )

This is a track that I feel good about and can be competitive on…just hope it isn’t raining. The auto test drive had it raining…thanks for your videos!

The Track layout is off on the hot lap and chase lap, I missed that in editing, sorry

Good video as always! I think the track map layout during your cockpit uninterrupted hot lap bit isnt quite right.

One thing I have noticed is that the driving line sometimes can be used as an indicator for the braking marker , even if you don't follow what it says sometimes you can use it's colors to do what you want

Love your videos my man. One quick watch gets me the track layout, braking points and most importantly what curbs to avoid. Driving lines obviously vary due to driving style, but one watch and a few laps gets me exactly where I need to be. Appreciate the time put into each video.

Amazing time man, this isn't a criticism directly towards you, even Coach Dave Academy is doing the same thing for their references but I wish the single player Time Attack competition was used more often for these hotlaps. Track temperature, usage state, fuel load and the setup overall can account for a significant variance. Keeping things consistent between people uploading this kind of content would be awesome. Even just for practice I wish it was used more by the racing public to get a better idea of what the competition looks like before going into an official session, even then, I don't think enough people are using Time Trails so there's actually some proven consistency behind that pace

PCC should be the best series on iRacing but it’s always just needless carnage! Good race Mathias, not a lot you could have done better (apart from taking out that BMW of course 😂)

im quite new to iracing (~5 hours) and idk how but i managed some laps around 0.2 faster than you did in the video with much worse technique and worse usage of the track limits. i cannot understand how the aliens (im not sure if you are also an alien or a sim enjoyer) are not hitting mid/high 55s… is there something im missing?

Tracks like this are so much more fun for these cars because it requires more skill to go fast. They are more technical and leads to better racing. That said...looks like I need to find 3 seconds! Thanks for another great track guide.
