Another point for the downcut endmills, they are great when working with thin materials as they'll push the material into the table instead of lifting it and producing chatter
@@MakeTechCreate Oh! That would make a lot of sense. I'm new to CNC and bought a 1/16 and was trying to find a 1/16 collet adaptor, LOL. Also is shank the same as shalf? I bought an Amana 1/16 and the description says 1/8" shank

6:41 In the video of the the ball end mill in action, the chip evacuation looked to me a bit like a downcut mill? .. 🤔
Wow mate amazing bits
Thanks for watching!
great info thanks. do you have any information about finding the right position for the work xy-0
If you want consistent centering, the best method to use a probe. Eyeballing center can be difficult.
Well explained Thank u
nice video! thank you very much pal :)
Happy to help
I want to make accurate PCB's with perfect aligning holes. Not sure if an end ball mill or flat end mill is better for drilling 0.8mm holes.
Flat end mills are typically used for hole. Just got slow with a but that small. Thanks for watching.
@@MakeTechCreate Ok. Ty.
Very Good Video
Glad you liked it! Thanks for Watching.
Did you have to use some type of adaptor for the 1/16 since it's so small?
It's a 1/8" shaft with the cutting tip being 1/16". So, you just need a 1/8 collet for most of these smaller bits.
