Brian, know you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. It's nice to see you making up and taking a frame of honeybees in an observation hive to your local farmers market. People so enjoy seeing a frame of bees up close. It is a great way to educate the importance of them to our food supply and a product source of nature's sweet healthy honey to take home. I had a 4 frame observation hive that I built and kept in the upper half story hallway close to my kids bedrooms. Was great fun to keep bees inside your house and look at them daily from the spring into the fall. Placing them outside in a double 5 frame nuc prompted up on the roof of a carport. It butted up to our second story south gable end of the home with a big window to look out upon our garden and fruit orchard below down the hill. We all appreciate your videos and all the work you do showing and talking about your hives there in your state. Thanks 🐝

Looking good Brian. Folks tend to love observation hives. Those bees should be fine for that amount of time.

Sorry for your Loss. I took an observation hive to a market this past weekend. The kids love it and I was surprised how many adults were interested. I had the bees out of the hive for about 24 hours. I didn't see any issue.
