'Fall had arrived in the ancient woodland and the lush greens had been replaced by sunset oranges and yellows. The leaves had started to fall and in a month the woods would take on a more stark atmosphere as another harsh winter laid siege.
You sat down beside the river and took out a flask of coffee, along with some provisions you'd brought along. There was not a soul around and you were grateful for the time alone. For the next three hours you watched the river and took in this wondrous place'.

Life is a temporary thing .
"Hard times" are not a 'temporary thing' for millions, no matter how many fatuous things you tell yourself to make _you_ feel better. SMH.
Thank you, and I appreciate your optimism. To an extent. However, as a personal example, it is unlikely to help change the outcome of my terminal cancer, or the fate of countless millions of others, past, present and future, who have had, or will have, similarly undesirable life trajectories or sets of circumstances that they simply do not have the power or influcence to change. I get it about prayer, and so on, but do I really believe or 'feel' it? And as for arguments along the lines of 'you must have chosen this...' along with countless others. Well, no!
The leaves turn orange in the fall. It's autumn in my country and Winter is coming soon. However, I love autumn and I love winter. Wow! Water flows down the river, giving life to the ecosystem. Thank you so much for this video, I really appreciate it. 🏞️🌎👍🙂

The sailing UA-camrs need to make a similar speech. I followed several sailing tubes and finally bought a boat. Yada yada … sailed across the Caribbean Sea. I learned that the UA-camrs lied. It is not bikinis and beaches, but rather very stressful with intermittent blast of terror. It’s way out of a comfort zone! Embrace it or go home.
