My mother died of COVID 11 days ago. Autumn was her favorite time of the year. This video means a lot to me. I loved her so, so much. I miss her so much. It really really hurts.
It’s difficult to loose anyone, let alone a parent. Life can be so hard at times. Feel what you feel. Write it out, talk with others. I hope things will get better for you over time.

Xdeep Relax Music, many people in the world share this feeling with you. In truth, it's not a 'place' we long for - much more a 'state of being', which lend us a sense of safety and inner comfort as much as stillness and a loving heart. But there are places in Nature in our world which prompt us to experience this 'state of being', this 'I am home' sensation. It doesn't need to be a fancy place, not even a great forest, just a place that ''ressonates" with you, summoning what I mentioned above. I've found this little pod, just 10 minutes from my home - a sort of power/sacred place, at least for me. And I just can advice everyone to look for their own little pod of light and bliss to commune with Nature, yes, but above all communing with the innermost of themselves too.
I fell asleep during an evening church service once. I was very tired.
When I awoke, I mentioned to a friend that I'd had a dream that I was "back on the farm."
Trouble is, I've never actually lived on "the farm".
Actually, it's no trouble.
I think "the farm" is just a "mosaic" of happy memories, places visited.
Having a coffee with a friend recently, who I had told about the dream once, and I must have been in deep thought about something.
He said,
"You back on the farm mate?"
I'll never live this down.
The desire to return home is an intuition to return to your original state, your original freedom. Being in nature can bring us into stillness of mind and allows the original state of spiritual wholeness to be felt. There are many teachers that can help such as Gangaji, Mooji, Adyashanti, Rupert Spira that can assist in helping you to discover that home is not a place but a state of being that is original to you. It is your true spiritual nature and is inherently free.

I think you might be right about the "'mosaic' of happy memories, places visited", but I like to give you one more alternative: Perhaps, while 'asleep', your spirit just wandered to that farm, which looked so familiar to you. Why not?... Perhaps some of our so called 'impressive dreams' are no more than journeys a very subtle part of us engage itself while the body rests. At any rate, I wish you sweet and wonderous journeys in your dreams! They are worth of a good sleep.

I came back here after a year and I'm glad of it. I turned 18 some time ago and my father gave me a book. It was written by my mother, who died 6 years ago. It took me weeks to finally open it, and this was playing in the background while I read it all. Thank you and thank to all those who commented sharing a part of their lives. I cried with you all, hope you are all doing well and living your best life.

reminds me of the upstate house my parents bought in oneonta.....it had 20 acres with it and 2 bungalows......there was a beautiful stream and we would walk there .....these pictures here was the beautiful nature we encountered. looking at them now, I reflected back and would have memories of family times, swimming in the steam which would be freezing at times.It didn't matter......The simplicity and the spiritual feeling was still present
