  • Here is the video from our recent trip to Caprock Canyons SP. It is approximately 2 hours southeast of Amarillo, Texas. This park is a must-see if you are visiting the panhandle along with Palo Duro Canyon State Park.
This campground has beautiful hiking trails, wild bison, and even a bat cave in an abandoned railroad tunnel. Enjoy the video and get outside and go camping.
*If you are looking to hike Eagle Point Trail to go see The Natural Bridge, here is how to get there. You start by parking right off the road. But instead of walking past the sign towards a trail, you must actually walk East and head down the road a bit to find the actual trailhead entry.

We thought so as well. I have lived in Texas a long time, and I don't know why I haven't gone to this park sooner. Thanks for watching!

Good video, but please try to remember trail etiquette: Dogs on solid not extendable leash, and "Leave nothing but footprints, take nothing but Memories"

I was not aware of the solid leash rule, so thanks!

@@OurGoldRoad not really a rule, just highly regarded. The extendable leashes tend to break easy. Just helps make sure everyone and all pets are safe and secure.

“You’re not gonna put a rock on you’re head! “. “Why not? That’s how people used to carry stuff!!!” Dad…was shut down!! Lol

I thought this was the funniest part of the video!! 😂😂 She cracks me up! (I missed her comment since I was hunting for the trailhead, so I didn't hear what she said 'till Trevor made the video!)

Thanks for watching! We just wished we had more time there to explore of the park. We will have to go back. What did you think of the park? What was your favorite trail? I'm going to check your channel now.

@@OurGoldRoad We went recently and enjoyed the Hayne Ridge Overlook trail. We knocked out three trails on our visit. Planning on going back soon to finish the rest of the trails. I’m glad you mention the trail markers. I said something similar in my video.

You will really like the park. Plus, you have to see Palo Duro Canyon SP while you’re in the area. That’s what we did. Both canyons are really beautiful. Thanks for subscribing!

Great video can you drive to the tunnel? New subscriber here.

Welcome! Thanks for watching! Unfortunately no, you can't drive thru the tunnel. The trail is blocked off at the entrance and only allows hiking and biking.
