I loved y'all's video. The hikes had me laughing along with you. I can certainly relate with my fear of heights. Hell no I ain't standing up. ❤️🤣 Thank you for sharing.
We stayed at those same sites at Little Red Camping area. It was also super windy. Olivia couldnt sleep. Said she thought our tent was going to collapse all night. I slept great. Haha. I really want to backpack out there. We did the trails but it's been probably 5 years. Thanks for the video. Amazing that you take a bunch of red dirt and broken rock, put it together, and end up with something so amazing.
Yeah, I thought it was Bison coming through our camp!! LOL. It really is quite amazing. You're driving along for quite some time with nothing but flat prairie and then all of sudden this just seems to come out of nowhere!! Thanks so much for watching!!
Stumbled across your channel planning our summer hiking trips 😁, Caprock looks great! Hopefully we can still get there this year 🤞🏼. Haven’t hiked Texas as of yet . Great video, really enjoyed it and nice channel👍🏼!
Hi! New friend and subscriber from Washington 😊 Really enjoyed your video- the area is so different from what we have - love the red rocks and open views 👍👍 That climb up to the viewpoint looked rough, but well worth the effort. We call it doing the ‘gecko’ when it’s steep and we get on all fours! Great job, esp with a heavy backpack!! 🥾🥾
Great video! I've seen many videos of Caprock Canyon State Park but this one really makes me want to head out there soon! hopefully with some warmer temperatures though!
Lauren did the crab walk up that rock face with Craig behind her hollering "well stand up" Funny stuff. Gotta give her credit though, she made it. Great views. Thanks for sharing and God bless.
Loved this park! Great video...definitely a great hike! Not sure what trail at the beginning was. New sub...I have a channel as well, feel free to check it out.
The first day we did Upper South Prong to North Prong to North Prong spur and to our campsite. Second day we did North Prong Spur and Haynes Ridge Overlook Trail. Thanks so much for checking us out and subbing. We will definitely checkout your channel!!!
OK... these videos are AMAZING!
Marsha Albee ahhh you’re sweet!!! Thanks so much!!!

So beautiful! I would definitely have to go in winter.
Yes, summer is way too hot!! The last time we were here was in October and during the day it was still pretty warm!! Thanks so much for watching!!
Lauren looked like she absolutely crushed this hike. Awesome to see. Thanks for taking us along with y'all.
chicken lord she did very well!!!! She’s working very hard to overcome her fear of heights!!! Thanks for watching!!
Great video y'all. We haven't been there in a few years and it was nice to see those wonderful views again.

I wanted to add...some of our favorite places in Texas are Big Bend National Park and Guadalupe Mountains National Park if you are interested!!
Texas HIKEaholics do you know how far apart those two parks are? We’re actually looking at those for next spring, if all goes well😬
@@TheMountainMatt it's about a 4 to 5 hour drive.
Texas HIKEaholics thanks! Both are possible in just a week😁. We like to get up in each park and really experience them. Great chatting with you👍🏼
