As usual, it is an exceptionally well-done video. Love the old clips added over because, in reality, it'd just be a video of you two walking around some concrete and rusted metal in America. As a European I mean it would be slightly boring but instead I loved every second of the old clips, what it looks like now and then your added info at the end. Have a lovely Christmas 🎄.
This is a perfect example that we all need to be humbled by. Sometimes just one decision can change your life and you go from everything you wanted to being alone in facilities that this used to be. As bad as you think you have it, it can always be worse and usually there is somebody living your worst already. Do not take things for granted, don't say it will never happen to me. The man at the end knows his life should not have ended the way it did. For a while he lived the dream only to focus on his new dream was having glasses, a place to sleep, food to eat and his teeth fixed. No matter what he had lost, he was still appreciative of what he had. Dont ever think you're better than someone else just because you have better things than they do, one day you may not have it either.
yes, it's sad. but the vandals will break every last window. and once the weather gets in, the building is doomed. when you explore these places, take nothing but pictures, and leave nothing but footprints.
Your adventures are EXACTLY my cup of tea. Wish I had the time/resources to do the same. For now, I will wait for the next video. Nice work, as always.

Vandals suck. Someone just put F-busters on the Welcome to Salem sign in gold. Been thankfully removed. Really the best thing they could do is save the best buildings to restore and remove the rest.

If it were not for God's intervention in my life, I could have neded up like so many other people with mental illness, drugs, alcohol etc. What a shame to have this land and structures just waste away.

Camp LaGuardia was basicly the American version of the UK Workhouse where the poor and ill went to work for shelter and food. They were horrid places and not safe and sometimes the conditions were worse than Camp LaGuardia. British workhouses were dreadful places.
Wow you were right next to me. I live less than a half mile from this place. The place was a burden on our town. Lots of problems from these people. NYC should have just kept their problems to theirselves. The county bought it so the Hasidics couldn't get their grubby hands on it, but I guarantee they'll end up with it either way. They always get their way.
Sad with all the money our government wast we can’t take better care of our mentally ill and homeless. Start with all the money sent to Ukraine and Israel how many good hospitals and shelters could be build and kept well staffed. Trillions going overseas think about that.
Yes. Decay sets in quickly without maintenance like the doors, windows, roofs, heating, and air conditioning. Plus, the number and frequency of vandals and scrappers.
