Erm the USA orchestrated a regime change in 2014 and toppled the elected government. Then the new regime began slaughtering people in Eastern Ukraine because they didn't agree with it. Don't you even know that? Putin tried for 8 years to get the new regime to sign a peace agreement but they kept breaking the terms. I'm astonished that so many people are ignorant of the facts. Merkel and Zelensky even admitted publicly that they never intended to honour the peace agreement because they were just using it to buy time to rearm. Russia only invaded as a last resort.

Seems like the UK has conveniently forgotten who illegally invaded Iraq to effect regime change on the pretext of seeking mythical weapons of mass destruction. The invasion was condemned by the UN and its Secretary General as an illegal invasion. So, what's the difference between the illegal invasion of Iraq and the illegal invasion of Ukraine? To me, the West was just more successful in its illegal invasion than Russia was, but then, the West had plenty of such practise from its colonial past! No wonder the Global South look upon the West as hypocrites and effecting double standards when it suits them. Oh, and what about the Israel invasion of Gaza?
1) We don't condone the Iraq war. The largest protest in our history was against it.
2) The Iraq war wasn't conducted by "the west", but by 4 countries; the US, Poland, Britain, and Canada. Other "the west" countries opposed it, notably Germany and France.

Anyone with a non UK media - political perspective can see there is a background which is not complimentary to the USA / UK versions of events. Anyone disagreeing with the sequence of events leading up to this conflict should argue on basis of facts not simply try to wash everything away with a derogatory 'Putin Fan' dismissal.
Opinions like these is precisely why these small parties should remain small. There is nothing that justifies Russia’s invasion. Absolutely nothing. And these Putin apologists are being called exactly what they deserve; absolute disgraces.
