- The King visits the Goldsmiths’ Centre in central London where he meets young apprentice silversmiths and 2022 World Skills Competition contestants.
His Majesty also hallmarks a piece of processional cross commissioned by the Goldsmiths’ Company on behalf of the King.

Since watching King Charles in comparison to the late Queen Elizabeth, I find that the King seems more interested and involved. The Queen always seemed a tiny bit bored, which seems natural, but Charles seems genuinely excited to see what his subjects are doing. I think being married to Camilla has obviously made him happy and content.
As the longest-serving Prince of Wales he learned to relate with people from on all levels. He developed a genuine interest in their work and learned to relate to people from all walks of life, it helped keep him humble.
The Queen was interested during her visits with her subjects or atleast acted like she was. I think at her age she had done it all and seen it all. I never thought I'd think of Charles as a breath of fresh air but he certainly seems like it. He has his father's ease and sense of humor for sure.

His Majesty's intense interest in everything shines thru. He is charming, engaged and curious about what the community is doing. He is a bit more reserved than his son (the Prince of Wales) is, but you can see the father/son resemblance in many of their mannerisms. God Save the King!
His Majesty looks dapper in that beautiful blue suit. A relief from all those light grays!
