This is my mum who is driving. She obviously didn’t know where the car was going as she was in the other line. She wouldn’t race a driver she thought she was going the other way. The front of the car got damaged because of this.

blind spot means your not using mirrors enough to keep track whats always around you, use mirrors enough you see people enter blind spot then you know lane is closed till you see them again
Mostly agree but the first one - the motorbike went over on slush or ice in the middle of the road, the red car behind was just going too fast and too close, they didn't skid, just weren't paying attention hence the crash 6:06 while I agree with the movement, cammer didn't do an over the shoulder check, almost certainly put indicators on and started to move almost immediately
2:40 The reason the truck is going slow is because he can't see you. You are in his blind spot and he is counting on your road sense to have gathered this & give him a wide birth, perhaps a friendly flash, but no, you decided to be a dick.

1:40 'They're all racing each other'. Not very successfully, it would appear. One idiot in a red car whizzed past and made awful lane changes while all other passing vehicles were barely going any quicker than the cammer.

First incident just proves that driving is not for everyone. Keep your distance folks and pay attention, in the end you're in control of a deadly machine.
Most people watching would have been saying... Your in his A pillar blind spot, he's not seen you... And no the Hotpot truck had not seen you. Always ask yourself have I been seen... But nope you did nothing.
3:26 oh Steven calm down, the size of the space you left and slow driving pace gave all the signals you were allowing them to join. And why kickoff and blow your horn anyway, what did you achieve from that?
Well, even so, that was stupid. The instructor should have taken over or even just not let it happen by telling the student to choose the correct lane. Though, since the exit was to the M1, I'm not sure what else the instructor could have done other than let it happen.
@@Introzoid Yeah I agree, instructor shouldve taken over there, but i doubt that was an actual instructor too lol, also I meant just seems odd to me sending this clip through as its a learner so of course they will make mistakes now and then i guess
Looks like a family car rather than a driving instructor, but yes the person supervising should be telling the driver to make sure they are in the correct lane. That said, it's a learner and the next exit is the motorway, so if you read the situation well you should anticipate them changing lanes and give them a bit of space.
@@huwlewis9059 tbh i can understand how it must have been so frustrating to encounter such idiocy. While the horn is not an angry button i'm inclined to be lenient.
Just incredible, I use to drive for a living, hundreds of thousands of miles over the years in various different vehicles, and the more of these types of videos I watch, the more I realise just how many more a$$holes there are on the roads in the UK nowadays, I packed in driving for a living after "too many" near misses, and almost head-ons I had, through other drivers stupidity, what I find most appalling is some of these submitted videos... the near misses could so easily have been avoided, if they had read the road and situation better, and not just driven head long into that situation, have these people never heard of defensive driving ffs. I think the problem is.... a lot of drivers think passing a test turns them Stirling Moss over night and the best driver on the planet, when it is just a starting point to learning to drive and control a vehicle, my advice to anyone is do some advanced training, it could save your life one day.
Piss poor forward planing and Road sense by the cammer didnt help though. Once taking her exit the VW was doing the right thing by keeping left. Cammer chose to keep her foot on the gas and the two bubble heads collided.
3:20 ouch, someone very close to me drives like that . Driving so slowly in case the car at junction pulls out , but I’m smart enough to fully realise the car will obviously think you’re letting them out and I’m almost bracing for an impact…… undue hesitancy is a strong reason for failure in a test . Shouting “YOU GIVE WAY TO US” underlined the lack of self awareness of the situation.
Why do people get so worked up. Shouting and sounding their horn. Things happen, accept it. Mistakes aren't made with the intention of annoying you, they are mistakes.
As much as i understand it could be annoying see someone go past at a merge, its not illegal, in fact you're supposed to use both lanes to reduce long queues. The Mercedes on the other hand was actually committimg an offence as you are not allowed to impede others trying to merge. Ive had similar happen to me with people trying to block but they soon moved back when they see a large Transit coming up, some places there's signs literally saying use both lanes
I think that there should be an amnesty for learner drivers - of course they're going to be "poor", they're still learning. As for the situation, indicators might have been a good idea but the alternative was doing something illegal by going on a motorway
first clip, I really wish the the drivers who drive too close (which is the majority trucks are the worse) would see this and realize that this could have been fatal, but no, no, that wont happen because they are selfish. so clad the motorcyclist was ok, it really could have ended bad. last clip, It amazes me how many bad drivers think they are in the right, we all make mistakes, but to blame them on others just says you have no clue how to drive!
I wondered that, too. My guess is the footage was used as part of an insurance claim settlement in which the van driver ‘asked’ that their details not be posted online, perhaps?
I thought some of these were a bit silly and unnecessary. Always remember if you have time to shout, swear or hoot manically you have time to show down or take evasive action. We all make mistakes, it’s how they are dealt with thats important.

That first clip surprised me, I was expecting the biker would get taken out by someone overtaking on a double solid line.
Aedan clearly speeding in wet and dark conditions, blurred out the speed so we cant see he's speeding but it's obviously he is. Bravo 👏🏼
Are u thick? U clearly should not have a license, that person should not of pulled out on him, he was on a green light, he has the right of way
It was my reg that was blurred not the speed
00:00 wasnt expecting the second car, keep a safe following distance of around 10-15 seconds in the snow and ice. ig they hit a patch of ice probably :/ and it probably was the same patch of ice the motorcyclist slipped on
1:10 proper mirror checks and slow down is all i can say
2:06 break the law by going on the motorway as a learner, or cut someone off and go back on the roundabout? it kind of makes sense ig. indicator wouldve helped tho
2:15 2 proper mongs who are suffering from MGIF
2:39 the van probably never saw you cause of its bad approach angle and blindspots.
2:51 they dont care. dont bother blocking em. waste of time.
3:09 phone usage probably
3:22 probably got fed up of waiting so just went. horn usage was kind of a bit unnecessary.
3:49 wow no audio. the cammer probably clipped his wingmirror, or just the guy was really angry and uneducated.
4:14 foreign drivers of LHD lorries getting confused by a GPS with weird road names in a weird and backwards country. perfect mix.
4:30 again another blindspot issue.
4:43 at least u got his plate.
5:00 you can see the brake lights go off. maybe he thought it wouldnt roll, was trying to balance the bite point, thought he put the handbrake on, or was too busy on his phone?
5:25 drink drugs or phone usage as mentioned, most likely phone usage again as mentioned tho. these smart motorways are bad tho they encourage middle and right lane hoggers as seen in this clip for lanes 2 and 3. 5:41 good decision not to go past.
5:57 when you're an NPC who loves saving the planet so doesn't use any acceleration, but also is an NPC so goes straight to the passing lane. maybe theyre an old driver or just dont know in manual cars lower gear = more acceleration. and moving to lane 2 straight away without checking mirrors is a bad idea.
6:06 im going to go out on a limb here and say that the cammer did check his mirrors, but the vehicle moved from lane 3 into lane 2, whilst the cammer had already started to change lanes. unless the cammer just didnt see/didnt check mirrors and pulled out on them in lane 2, but i think the former is more likely.
6:13 dangerous and unsmart. what if there was a vehicle 20-30 over the limit in lane 1 that couldnt see the ped?
6:31 a special one trying to cut traffic and holding their own when trying to get back in
7:36 wow a fire. anyway, focusing on driving... uhhh shame everyones lane hogging tho
7:58 a wild bus appears.
8:13 a wild animal appears.
8:22 travelling a tad too fast, coupled with a dark, rainy, night, headlights can dazzle people especially when reflecting on tarmac which probably is why the car makes unprotected right turn into cammer.
8:37 self explanatory. gore crossing is illegal last time i checked. but drivers dont look 20 feet from their cars.
8:46 MGIF syndrome. he probably didn't get too far till he had to giveway at a roundabout or stop for a red light.
9:11 stay. in. a. staggered. formation. on. roundabouts. easier said than done? i think not.
blind spot means your not using mirrors enough to keep track whats always around you, use mirrors enough you see people enter blind spot then you know lane is closed till you see them again
Mostly agree but the first one - the motorbike went over on slush or ice in the middle of the road, the red car behind was just going too fast and too close, they didn't skid, just weren't paying attention hence the crash
6:06 while I agree with the movement, cammer didn't do an over the shoulder check, almost certainly put indicators on and started to move almost immediately
2:40 The reason the truck is going slow is because he can't see you. You are in his blind spot and he is counting on your road sense to have gathered this & give him a wide birth, perhaps a friendly flash, but no, you decided to be a dick.
Saved me saying exactly that.
It’s berth, not “birth”
@@jasonskerritt5258 I knew that, I just like to set traps for pedants 😘
@@charliejackman2953 Ok then
That's exactly what I was going to comment.
0.15 did that coming home from work one morning. All good, patch of ice suddenly back wheel over took the front.
Hot point van was indicating and moving well before cammer was anyway near and you can see cammer had plenty of time to slow down and let him out without incident but nah,, why do that eh lets just keep driving and blame the van for getting in the way,, yeah ok.😂
1:40 'They're all racing each other'. Not very successfully, it would appear. One idiot in a red car whizzed past and made awful lane changes while all other passing vehicles were barely going any quicker than the cammer.
I dont get why people drive in the right hand lane at night in the wet with bad visibility and a clear left lane like @8:25 and Aedan. I feel you would have been better placed in the left lane for evasive action and genral visbility for some one puling out on you.
First incident just proves that driving is not for everyone. Keep your distance folks and pay attention, in the end you're in control of a deadly machine.
Aww that lovely lady in the first clip checking on the person in the red car 😢
Nathan might want to check his mirrors before changing lane.
Except that looking in the mirror wont see a car coming from 3-2 . LOOK OVER SHOULDER IS THE ANSWER.
Shoulder check?!
1st clip. The car that crashed was obviously too close to the cammer and wasn't paying attention. The reason a lot of crashes happen nowadays...
4:18 not sure what's worse, the driving or the Celine Dion power remix.
2:09 I wonder what that L means on the back 🤦♂
Well, even so, that was stupid.
Lousy driver
I love the way only the British can hop out in a car crash with a high visible jacket on it's so British
6:10 What was Nathan thinking, uploading that? Nobody to blame but himself. Don't change lane if there's somebody already in it.
The other car might have simultaneously changed lane to the left from the rightmost lane to be fair
Not everyone sends videos in to blame others.
That last one though... The Karen in the frock actually believes she's in the right.
What is it with roundabouts and complete numpties?
*Road rage education is crucial in preventing instances of brake checks.*
3:27. Stephen. You were going so slow he thought that you were letting him out. So the shouting fell on deaf ears.
4:08 6 points and £200 fine
British people love to queue even with an empty lane to ease traffic next to them
07:00 Well done John for standing your ground! 🙂
Do same when driving bus, defo idiots out there.
John did let himself down with a pointless 5 seconds of horn use. Other driver was a grade 1 plum, though.
@@huwlewis9059 tbh i can understand how it must have been so frustrating to encounter such idiocy. While the horn is not an angry button i'm inclined to be lenient.
The benefits of diversity, not having a clue or a driving licence, then expect to always get away with it by playing a certain card.
@@huwlewis9059 Using the horn in the situation is fine by me, it may embarrass the other silly driver by bringing more attention to them.
ASDA Junction at the trafford Centre 9:29 Always a shit time on that one
Pretty sure I'm starting to recognise some of these names, and not for good reasons. Seems some people never learn...
Last clip, it’s never a good idea to undertake. It’s dangerous and is always going to annoy people.
Kieran, a fellow DMF fan
Merge in turn "police" too stupid to realise you merge at the merge point, not any sort of distance before it, leaving a lane completely empty.
Nathan: Ah, that’s what the mirrors are for!
7:38 Keir is lane hogging. Which will be banned if he becomes prime minister.
9:37 erm why you shouting Beetle lady? Totally you at fault. Stay in yo lane girl 😅
Piss poor forward planing and Road sense by the cammer didnt help though. Once taking her exit the VW was doing the right thing by keeping left. Cammer chose to keep her foot on the gas and the two bubble heads collided.
@@LavisP 😂
Sorted for E’s and whizz
Pulp - sorted for e’s and whizz in the first clip 😂😂
6:20 why is Sahil in lane 2 of an empty road.
7:51 must be an electric Transit. Because, you know, diesels don't catch fire.
For the first clip, it’s hard to tell, but were they even braking? I don’t see brake lights until after they hit the tree?
08:11 For Fox Sake.. hehehe
2:08 I knew I recognised that junction - it's the Pinxton interchange where the M1 meets the A38 near Huthwaite (Nottinghamshire)
7.50 "fxxkin hell! I'm slowing down for no reason in lane 3 when I should just be continuing at normal speed in lane 2!"
I love all those people that think you should sit in single file traffic rather using both available lanes.
3:40 drives over white lines so is in the wrong too
They should show the first clip to all learner drivers and others to show why you should always maintain a safe distance from cars in front
3.26, the cammer slows down. Presumably the car waiting to come out thinks he's being allowed to, hence the collision.
No collision, but yes, people will push out if you dawdle like that.
3:12 - Perfect comic timing from Nick Ferrari there.
Why do people get so worked up. Shouting and sounding their horn. Things happen, accept it. Mistakes aren't made with the intention of annoying you, they are mistakes.
3:36 M A drive across chevrons to jump the queue as much as possible then complain when someone isn't happy about your bad driving.
Stephen should've gotten a parking ticket he was so tardy pulling away.
The car in the first clip, was just trying to reenact the intro to this channel 😂
If you think you can drive when holding and using a mobile phone, you deserve to be jailed
7:03 so selfish that 😮
Watch Compilation #6 for the latest UK dash cam incidents featuring crashes, poor drivers, and road rage. Stay safe on the roads!
3:07 give you abuse because he’s doing whatever he wants and knows he’s going the wrong way he is a 🤡
I think that there should be an amnesty for learner drivers - of course they're going to be "poor", they're still learning.
4:49 Why blur the van? Show the number plate and shame the knobhead.
M A hmm you crossed hatch markings to jump the queue, it really wasn't a merge in turn for you as you were already in that lane and you were impatient
Feel sorry for the rider of the first clip as although its hard to judge from a video, it didn't look like they were going too fast and caused the problem themselves (also the bike didn't exactly slide very far).. I hope they are ok and the bike is sorted 👍👍
9:14 you literally put yourself in the only position that would raise risk. Some basic awareness and hazard perception would have easily prevented that collision.
Marc he saved your life smashing In to that tree. Nuts
First clip, I feel sorry for the guy on the bike, congrats to the dash cammer and the one that hit the tree either was too close or not paying attention.
