@9:26. Looks like the cammer pulled out in front of a bus, that had a car overtaking it. @10:35. Seems Creative Drives have creative trailers, that can undo the tow pin safety clip and also detach the twin emergency tow chains.
I might be missing something, a lot of people criticising Paul at 09.30. But the bus is turning into the junction he is coming out of. The bus can’t get in unless he moves out. So he does to allow the bus in. Then a car overtakes the bus, but I’m sure there is a Highway Code rule not to overtake approaching a junction. Can someone clarify?
I don’t think there’s a clear answer - as the Highway Code says Paul must give way to traffic on the main road when joining it - but as you say the car shouldn’t have overtaken the bus and Paul had to pull out - maybe he could have done it much more slowly and with care as two-wheeled road users are quite likely to do what the car was doing. Basically it’s on all parties to be cautious and I don’t think the other car should have attempted the overtake - although I’m not sure they were contravening actual instruction from the HC.
@@Marvhead but that’s my point. The bus was indicating to turn into the junction Paul was coming out of. So he had to move. Otherwise the bus can’t go anywhere.

9:57 Nicola didn't cause that crash, but Nicola also didn't do much to prevent it. Slow down a bit, maybe the van driver would have seen you more easily

7:42 has the dash cammer submitted that to show their error or do they think the other driver is at fault. 9:39 more likely incompetent drivers are the ones causing the accidents.
I said the same thing, you can see him deliberately swerve to the right to try and stop him passing.
Nicola at 9:39 had ample opportunity to slow and give way, just ploughed right on, un fkg believable.
Looking at the speed on her dashcam Nicola made no attempt to slow until the last second. Driving without due care, clearly distracted and with the hazard perception of a gnat that’s just been hit by a truck.
7.50 Paul, if you hadn't moved into his lane to stop him overtaking perhaps he wouldn't hit you
7:52 it is cammers fault, it seems they could not see the line, or could not accept that other car will be overtaking them and then they jumped into the margining lane last second causing the crash.
Yes based on markings the merging car should have given way, but only when merging, the accident happened before the merging lane ended and cammer crossed the line into another car. There is really no other way of explaining it, but cammers fault.
Yep, there are 3 lanes the other side of them lights, all be it briefly, but there are, and the cammer was merging into the outside lane, for no reason other than to block the other car. He didn't indicate that change either. You can clearly hear his signal after the collision, but nothing before he merged into the path of the Passat. The guy is an Idiot.
Fair play to yourself for doing so, but you didn’t need to explain it so much. Paul had either consumed some ‘beverages’ or was paying sod all attention. He’s in the wrong, case closed
Wow don't normally comment but amazing job to the last cammer who called out that absolutely ridiculous braindead parking! Fucking boggles my mind that someone like that not only passed a driving test, but is still able to actually function day to day. As a delivery driver for a supermarket myself I unfortunately see this sort of thing so much now. But I applauded that cammer for saying something most people wouldn't.
Birmingham is full of 'special' drivers like her. It's mental. I avoid going anywhere in Brum these days.
Lady at the end is my new hero for 2023 fair play
Well you’re easily pleased 😂😂
"Audiot" apparently entered the popular lexicon 😂
A minor point to note here. Wild animals are not known for reacting to the car horn. come to that, neither are most drivers.
Well Ales and Paul are both in the wrong both don’t know how lanes work when there’s already a car in it little tip you don’t go in them 😉
Ales needs to learn how to drive and then complain about others
Ales is why people need to read the road markings and signs properly. it happens every roundabout and it's shocking to think he thought he was right
So much going on in that last cxlip that everyone missed the egregiously parked white land rover at the start. Right in front of the tesco doors and in people's way. Don't think that's even a space.
Yes, more selfish parking. But at least they didn't cause an obstruction (and raise the risk of accidents) on a busy road.
9:38 Or should that read: A lack of due care and attention causes three crashes per week.
I thought the same, the lorry stopping for "something" early in the right lane, then the stopped pick-up, then the big white van nosing out should have been three alarm bells for cammer to at least slow down, not barrel through.
1:20 One of my pet hates: you stop to let someone pass and some impatient w⚓️ overtakes you and tries to force their way through.
They just don’t read the road ahead at all. Funny how the make of car always correlates with the stupidity factor too.
I think what we all see here is an entitled prick driving a range rover. These type of road users are getting worse
State of that Audi driver in the last clip....🤮😂🤮
Ales try getting in the correct lane
Last clip, 👏👏👏 Well done that lady.
ewan at 5:45 submitting their footage of their terrible driving, dangerously tailgating the kia. they gave you the hint the first time and you immediately ignore the hint, so they have to physically stop you to give you driving advice. i take it was muted due to all the crying from a broken ego, that you had to then overtake them to tailgate the mondeo infront of them.
Are you really out here defending the Kia driver? Lmao.
@morbideddie your defending the cam driver. You think tailgating is OK?
@@whichwasher2007 no, I’m not defending the cam driver. You can tell because I don’t spend any of my comment defending the cam driver.
You are defending the brakechecker. As shown by you spending a large amount of your comment defending the brakechecker.
Reading comprehension my dude. Do better.
@@morbideddie was the kia break checking or just breaking. To slow to a stop? Breaking isn't illegal. But tailgating is punishable as driving without due care.
@@whichwasher2007 your entire first comment already assumes that the car is braking to “give them a hint” and to “stop to give them advice”. And when the passenger gets out to argue it makes the intention pretty clear no?
So yes, they were brake checking and your entire defense of the Kia is based on them brake checking. I don’t know why you’re trying to weasel out of your initial stance but the fact you are is a good indicator you understand why brakechecking is not defensible.
Brake checking is reckless driving and is illegal for exactly the same reasons as tailgating under the RTA. If somebody is tailgating and introducing unnecessary risk then the appropriate response shouldn’t be to make the situation even more dangerous by braking unnecessarily hard to “give them a hint” and then getting out of the car to argue. This shouldn’t need explaining but I guess we past that point.
7:45 that tends to happen when you choose to straddle 2 lanes?
I'd say check your mirrors next time, but it's pretty clear it was intentional
Quite clear he knew what he was doing. Although it won’t pay out as he’ll be at fault there
12:59 it's at those driving moments in time you just wish you'd been driving an old Land Rover Deffender and taken the door clean off.
9:10 it's scary how easily the car crossed the barrier. I thought those cable systems were supposed to be able to deflect an HGV, or is that a different type?
Looked like just a standard armco barrier at that speed and angle it would fold and launch the car like a ramp.
@@AJ-tj7jm it's standard Armco before the impact point but at the impact point it looks like some type of post and cable system
1:00 - The instinctive pressing the horn instead of avoidance.
1:45 - How did you miss that car pulling out?
2:16 - Drive to the conditions.
4:00 - Try being in the correct lane.
The lorry driver at 10:15 just gave up his pay for at least one day. That's a definite fine for an unsecure load.
That’s the least of his troubles. That looks like an expensive load going into the ditch. Surely he’s fired for that.
@@jeremypnet It depends on the circumstances.
But his bosses will certainly be having words. Then it's a matter of whether the police or Traffic Commissioner gets involved.
If it's just police, he'll probably get a fine and points, depending the level of negligence. If it's the Traffic Commissioner, he might never drive a HGV again.
You could say, it was certainly a 'Creative Drive' 🤣
1:45 is cuz they didn’t demist their windscreen
Luckily, no oncoming vehicle was near. Did a recovery to a Nissan & a trailer exactly like that, that was full of mot grade stone, had come detached from towing vehicle, (no breakaway chain fixed) overtook the towing vehicle headlong into the oncoming Nissan. The girl was in hospital for a long stay.
@Ewan. Most drivers would be angry at you, you're driving far too close to the car in front!!!!
3:56 Kind of feel bad for the driver of the yellow car.
I imagine they're getting 100% of the blame for the insurance claim, even though your driving is just as bad and contributed as much as their did to the collision.
nah - the cammers car was in completely the wrong lane to turn off (look at the road markings). Even if he had indicators on it could be interpreted as moving over a lane, not necessarily turning off. If he didn't have indicators on then it would be hard to pin much blame at all on the yellow car.
Cammer is in the turn right only lane.
Cammer in totally the wrong lane.
@@alexfrance500 I know the cammer is in the wrong lane. That's why I feel bad for the yellow car.
In practice, almost everyone would have joined the roundabout when he did. However, he was the one joining the roundabout and failed to safely join/ yield to the traffic already occupying it, so he'll be the one held responsible.
That's the downside of being a good driver in our justice system. You have to anticipate the morons and save them from the consequences of their idiocy, even if you want to make them crash so they learn to be better.
@@epsleon I suspect if Ales dared share the footage, that'll go 50/50 as he was clearly in the wrong lane and cut in front of the yellow car
11:40.Whoever you are, thank you for not letting her get away with it.
Anonymous is a Karen
Audi technically done nothing wrong
@statementleaver8095 There's nothing technically wrong with parking on double yellows, about 12 feet from a junction, on the pavement and causing an obstruction? Are you alright?
@@nickyjones88 I'm perfectly fine.
Just like You and Your Optician...... Blind
Carpark is 1way = 1Entry 1Exit......Let's turn a Blind eye to the Near miss the Cammer had as a result of the Lorry👍
5:00 worst thing about that was the pass by the lorry.
8.00 Paul lost the race, his door mirror and his no claims discount. Why he needed to get to the third lane that was ending when the left lane was empty the entire time was a mystery?
A friendly reminder to drivers that the brake is attached to your middle pedal (or left hand pedal if you're driving an automatic). The brake is NOT attached to the big loud button on your steering wheel.
02:39, loads of room for both of you as you both passed fine in the end.
Paul pulled out of the junction, despite not being able to see past the bus. He should have waited until the bus had moved.
10:15 absolutely terrifying. Imagine that coming towards you and you have little to no reaction time.
And keep your distance.
@@funkycowiewdym slow down then 😂 how can you predict that from an oncoming lane

Wasn’t the engine running too, or residual exhaust?
7:50 I'm guessing that the overtaking driver assumed that Paul was finally going to pull into the empty left lane and not hog the outside lane for another 2 miles.
Nah paul just didnt use his mirrors
That last woman should have her licence revoked for being such a selfish person !
11:28 I remember when they built the Tesco there so many people I knew predicted the parking issues. It’s a rare occasion to drive past and not see someone parked on those double yellows where the muller truck is (which I don’t blame him as they have a game getting into the car park).
Yesterday I went there and a Kia Niro parked across the 2 bays in front of the cash machine (where cammer parked and the space next to it).

I know its a sterotype but Audi drivers really dont help themselves and their image do they
Same for van drivers

Please someone explain 7:00 - Cammer is halfway off the road so you'd think they were leaving room for right turning traffic to pass, but then they get mad when right turning traffic passes, so why drive halfway off the road?
Cammer is a tool.
Looks like the van overtook into oncoming traffic and then almost sideswiped the cammer.
2:20 selfish of that driver interfering in Jay’s land speed record attempt
5:16 Classic situation - so drive defensively. Yes, they SHOULD stay in lane once joined, check their blinspot, then signal & change lane. But, people don't always do the right thing & you have to think "CAN they see me? HAVE they seen me?".
Fair play to the lady on the last clip calling that moron out 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 why don’t people just think about their surroundings when they make parking decisions 🤷🏻♂️
1:47 - you need to wait until your window properly demists!

10:16 - this is how my friend died, a detached trailer made his car into a pancake.
Sorry to hear that! This driver got lucky it didn't hit oncoming traffic. But unforgivable not to have the safety chain and failsafes attached and working!
@11:15 in the words of another Dashcam UA-camr "Always an Audi" ..... LOL
“Audiot” is my favourite new description 🤣
9.56 The road works don't cause the crashes, people driving too quickly or people pulling out without looking do, the two literally collided there.
9:48 - road works didn't cause anything Nicola, you driving along straight into a van pulling out (regardless of fault) is what caused it. It was obvious at 9:42 the truck was letting him out and 9:43 you could see he was moving, if you'd simply slowed then, you could have avoided any problems
Is the audi driver in the last clip completely devoid of common sense or think she's something special? (She's really not)
3:52 Ales you're in completely the wrong lane for that exit
9:57 Nicola didn't cause that crash, but Nicola also didn't do much to prevent it. Slow down a bit, maybe the van driver would have seen you more easily
I really hope when insurance companies see the footage of half these accidents they say it’s 50/50 or the camera cars fault it’s ridiculous how many people drive into an accident rather than just avoid it
Remember: having a crash when you have a dash cam is better than avoiding an accident altogether. According to these muppets, anyway.
If you'd waited the 15 seconds Paul the bus would have passed and you wouldn't have nearly caused a accident.
Looks like the bus wanted to turn into the road Paul was exiting but couldn’t until Paul had exited
Either-either, that car overtook the bus on a junction!
Not much going on between the ears on the last one. Who in their right mind parks like that.🙄🏴
5:30 I'm not excusing the other driver's blatant red light jump, but perhaps if you'd taken the time to have a look around before you moved off (which you did whilst your lights were still showing red/amber, btw... ) you'd have seen that coming.
The last one. The Audi is breaking at east 3 traffic laws. On the kerb, too close to a junction and on a double yellow. I'm not 100% sure, but if I were a copper, I'd add obstructing the road too!
To quote an earlier chap in the video, "What a total Audiot!!"
What a selfish cow parking like that
The clip with the corsa, driver behind driving too close and in wet conditions, driver trying to tell them by applying their brakes ! The woman telling the lazy women at the end was right, lazy ,sefish parking 😡
The desire to manifest accidents was at an all time high this week
Watching these videos, makes me want to buy an old army Landrover, and not brake when someone pulls out in front of me. And at 9:30 the car that pulled out is at fault, because cars on the priority road have priority over the complete width of the road.
You're not meant to overtake at a junction.
Correct but it is not expressly forbidden. In the highway code, the vehicle on the priority road has right of way over the full width.
@@geordiegeorge9041The Highway Code never assigns right of way. It only states when you must or should give priority.
The approach to a junction may have a ‘Give Way’ sign or a triangle marked on the road. You MUST give way to traffic on the main road when emerging from a junction with broken white lines across the road.

Ewan you were too close. Give it a little more space brother.
Road works cause 3 collisions a week? No that would be the people driving.

Lack of hazard perception from Nicola contributed as much to that crash
