The song won the selection and Aspelund went on to represent Finland at Eurovision with it, placing 10th in a field of 18.

Epic song (a real tour-de-force), probably too advanced for the ESC of those years. Monica completely slay here (and in the ESC) the mega high note. I can see why its still popular today (and better than the song from Lordi, hehe). In any case, and despite the 10th position, one of the best Finnish entries of all time.
