Love the reality moments in your vlogs. The lady with the face mask outside Hermes; the tradey boys wheeling the trolley past where the tartare was being prepped; & especially loved the piano accordion dude sitting in a barren performing space. Gotta love it all. Agreed that Bar Totti has toppled.

Dayle and Meredith, how cool! That first room was really sad. Is it customary to have no floor separation between the shower and the rest of the bathroom? I imagine water would get all over. The second hotel room was very nice. So many pretty handbags and accessories. Thanks for sharing, Dayle.
It had a tiny ledge but hardly any and yes water did go everywhere!

You make me want to return to Sydney, I went in 2009 when I was just 17. I’ve been back to Australia since but just Brisbane as that were our family is. I feel sentimental now, we stayed in this Raddison in O’Connell’s street that was like an old newspaper office and I remember feeling insomniac sad my trip was about to be over and I snuck out and just walking around the CBD all night, it was haunting as a teenager to see this famous city so still …before 26h flying home

Great vlog ❤ It’s a real bugbear of mine that too many hotels do not have space for toiletries in the bathroom! I’ve been to a few like that recently - who designs these spaces? Obviously someone who cares nothing for their hygiene and appearance, and gives such things zero thought! 😡 Was that a glimpse of my pale green croc Petite Malle in LV? 💕 In my dreams! 🤣

Hi Dale, thank you for this great video. Love seeing you catch up with Meredith. I absolutely love the soft Dauphine too. Saw it in the Brisbane store last Friday. They only had the 'white' which i personally think is more of a light cream colour in person and the black. The orange is gorgeous but not having seen it in person not sure if it is a hot orange or more of a tan. Anyhoo, if you were to add one to your collection what colour would you go for? I cannot make up my mind :)

How was The Charles? I've only been to the bistro next door and that was quite nice, although the sauce for my muscles was too salty but everything else was divine.
It was lovely, the serves are actually huge, too big in my opinion we couldn’t finish the steak!

I know right!! I’m not above a budget hotel & usually wouldn’t be fussy about bathrooms or what but as a 6 foot 3 man who hordes toiletries, that would not work. The dust on the phone is what creeped me out though
