Keep em coming. I’ve been using white turkey flat for vertical tails on streamers lately. They look so cool married together you can color the tips of white feathers and strip them back for small cheeks/gill plates. You can Palmer the turkey flat and wrap it for a head. Dollar store or natural very cool paddle tail effect.
Really nicely done Milan. The quality of your tying vids are getting better every time. Hope you and your family had a great holiday season and wishing you a fantastic 2025! P.S. What weight rod and which line do you use when using this fly? Inquiring minds would like to know😉
Thank you! I tie these from size 2 all the way up to 4/0. The size 2, i use it on my 6wt for walleye and small mouth bass(scientific anglers triple density sonar full sink). The one in the video I can use an 8wt rod but i have been using a 10wt with the Scientific Anglers Custom Musky line(full sinking and i believe its 400grains). You can and I have used this with floating lines and it works fine but I usually use this fly in lakes so i like to get down deeper to get to suspended pike, bass and walleye. Happy New Year!
100%!!! Try using 1/0 for them. The one ai tied was a 3/0(i use it for pike). You can also make it articulated (2/0 rear, 3/0 front) for larger pike and musky(go 3/0-4/0). Can’t wait for ice out!
Those stripes with the black marker just took it to the next level. Good stuff man!
Happy New Year!! Thanks for checking in and wish you many big fish in the net this year🙂
@@greenhornflyhorn Im gonna work hard trying to crack a 30lbs carp this year.. then next goal is 40lbs to crush the Ontario record :) :)

@@greenhornflyhorn Thanks for the info. Just being nosy.
I think my local walleye and smallies will find this to their liking.

Nice tie. This will definitely take so e smallies in the rivers near me!
This fly is incredible for smallies! If you have that “tea stain” water colour it is unbeatable🤘
I like tying streamers. I'll give that a try.
Yeah this one is fantastic! If you go on lakes, i suggest an intermediate or full sinking line. Let er rip!
