Mothers, let your daughters choose their own dress. I don't care if they're slender, tall and have a lovely figure. They should choose the profile they want and you should support them.
These are not the things that we should be judging eachother over. Be grateful, be thankful that your daughter is happy.

I loved the top of the first dress.
Now, when someone says "somewhere between a fishtail and a ballgown" how come they don't offer a drop waist dress with a full skirt? 🤔
The bride did not want something fitted around the hips. Whether there is frou frou below that is immaterial.
I recently had a similar situation trying on dresses for a ball. All my friends wanted me to go with a slinky fishtail, because I'm tall and thin, but all I could see were my lumpy thighs and tummy. In hindsight I was just being very body conscious and the changing room photos in that dress actually look awesome... but I know I would have been self conscious and uncomfortable all night if I'd worn it.
No 2 dress was dreadful

Daniella has a rather straight figure. The gown she chose was the best one for her, but if she wanted a curvier shape, I would have designed a ballgown, with sleeves or a bateau neckline.

The first dress was perfect. the second one was not for her. the third dress was ok. but could not compare to the first.

Nope not a fan of that dress on her. The first one did much more for her natural beauty
I actually agree with the mom. For me, I think the top of the dress against her complexion is what threw it off. You couldn’t particularly see the amazing detail due she looked washed out with it on.
