I just got one of these, also for free. Problem is mine was dropped on the left side and the antenna mount is all busted. So I'll have to figure out an alternative solution to mount the antenna. Maybe I'll just epoxy it in place.
I have a problem with the radio, the tapes and CDs are not working. I checked the tape player and it’s not spinning, then I inserted the CD and it has no sound. I really don't know what happened… can you please help. I apologize if my sentences are misspelled.
The no sound with CD playback I can't help with that since I don't even know the reasoning behind that. As for the tape player it's most likely the belts. Have to get in and replace them.
@@e-man316 oh see i thought you were talking about the one I have. So you must have the same one or something close to this kind. If the buttons stuck see if the record prevent tab in the tape bay is stuck cause that prevents accidental erase of the tape if that's not the case than its a mechanical problem which you gotta get inside to check out what's causing the jamming of the parts.

Sorry to hear about the antenna mount. Its not the best sounding boombox but the recordings it does sound great.
