Yanghaiying, I love how present you are with her. You don't even comment, other than polite acknowledgement, you simply allow her to share and express fully without interjection or interruption. You are so kind and wise. Very few like you ❤️ Learning from you my friend 🙏

Thank you for sharing my dear! The old woman has a great voice for ASMR and should make videos presenting the museum!

This was so nice, I would have gladly listened to that lady much longer, and was kind of hoping you 'd have asked her some questions to keep the storytelling going...such a shame you were interrupted.

Hello Haiying, I was taken back to a time when my Great Grandma told me some stories such as these🌹 She was very old and spoke tenderly... she was happy to sit and tell of her life back in those old days, showing me things very much like these! When she passed away several years ago my brothers and sisters and I had much excitement and joy going through her old home and each of us picking something that meant very much to us ✨ Now that I see her old churn , I remember how she told of making her butter, I have her sweet green hair bonnet that she wore, and few other precious things that I look at and remember her last talk that we had together. Now that I have gotten sicker, I am hoping the things I have will mean as much to my son and his little children one day! I’m very thankful for this sweet memory of my precious Great Grandma 🌹 Love you Dear Friend ❤️ I really do dododo

Hi Hiaying! Have you ever gone to Hearst Castle? I just came back from there and had an amazing weekend with my mother and best friend. It’s near San Louis Obispo and Templeton. I just feel like you would love all those areas. There was so many places with such gorgeous scenery and rich history and I couldn’t help but think of you when I went there.

Jennie Anderson I love and have a great appreciation for the beauty of the past. Without the past there would of course be no future. I’m an old soul at heart and often long for the values and simple pleasures so many people forget today like the feel and absorption of a good book and just sitting and visiting with friends or a walk through the park.

My question is: why are stuff from 50/80 years ago in actual museums? Should there be some older objects? Or even some interesting one? Why the waffle pans?
It just doesn't make sense to me

    • @beth12svist

It makes perfect sense to me; this is the side of history that neved gets taught in schools. So why not put it in museums so that it doesn't get lost? What isn't interesting to you may be infinitely interesting and useful to someone else. Writers of historical fiction, for example.

This video and your commentary is actually deeper than people might realize.
It shows exactly how our race works. Just the fact that kids of today do not even know what " Typewriter " is anymore shows how different generations perceive knowledge of humanity. Things that were used daily 110 years ago are now forgotten and replaced by technology and knowledge of today.
So imagine for a moment that our history is going way more further than that. I am talking about unimaginable scale of time, but we just simply do not remember anymore, our memory lost the link to it. Universe is so vast and full of potential life that our true origin will probably stay unrevealed.
You might think " Wow that is a stretch don't ya think? " But just think about it for a second, if people do not have automatic knowledge or memory of anything 100 years ago. We can't possibly have the same memory of our true origin possibly millions or billions of years back ( In Universe scale that time is like a blink of an eye ) for us, its insanely long.
But each generation is like a toddler learning new things and forgetting the old ones, so museum and all these memorial places give us the knowledge and information to keep those memories ^_^
