  • Sled season is over, perfect time to trick out the truck! We've been testing the Carli Suspension 3.25-inch Pintop system on our 2018 Ram 2500 Mega Cab Cummins 4x4 hauler since last summer. We've towed gooseneck trailers, bumper pulls, hauled stuff in the bed and have driven over 25,000 miles on the system in all sorts of weather and road conditions. The Carli Pintop system absolutely kicks butt. See more details at carlisuspension.com/product/d...

Yes, bolt in and take out when not using. Takes about 10 minutes.(timbren)

What are the impacts to payload and towing with the pintop system?

I just worked through this on a leaf spring truck. If you do airbags, you lose nothing. You can use the long travel bags on the 4.5" system, or Firestones with a cradle on the 2.5" system.

Sweet! 37's or 38's would definitely look good as well! Why the small 35's?

More clearance for those harder bumps when the wheel travels up into the wheelwell

35s better overall If you drive it daily. 37s 38s more for looks.

@@sh0cktim3 why would you say that? I run 37x13.50-17s with that kit and it’s amazing. E rated for towing. You can air down for daily driving and small bump compliance, then air down more for real off-roading. 35s are fine, but 37s aren’t just for looks.

@@kustomaf7606 they're just really heavy and lot of stress on the unit bearings. Should consider upgrading the bearings with the dynatrac kit free spin kit if you run 37s for a long time. That's why I say 35s are the best. Also the 35s dont kill your MPGs as much as a 37.
