Your most spectacular mountains yet on this trip, in my opinion.

Kind of the guy to give you guys beers. But obviously wasn’t a hiker, or he’d have stayed to take the empties:)

A road beer in-time saves pine (pining for one later), sure kind. That sure was a nice day there climbing and the brush ending, nice views. Donny sure is tenacious. Fun to see comradery along with terrific cross country routes. Stamina. I have found that watching through hikers has mad me a better hiker. Something about the stride in keeping with my inherent sure-footed training and practice. Oh, and I wanted to mention springs. Tectonics. From my studies it looks like most mountain springs are caused by tectonics. I think that's what it's called. The pressure coming up from the respective deep earth zones, magma and the crust. Yet I'm sure there could be springs from surface waters, ice and melt and such too. Overall, a fine episode on the ODT.

Road beer 🍺!! Man that was a tough bushwhack up that climb! Then to finally find a campsite, only to be kept awake all night by the wind!

Definitely a mule deer (ears don't lie!). The Pueblos are subtle compared to many mountain ranges, but I thought your views were stunning in this video.

Love re-living my Pueblos hike through your videos. Can't wait for the next one. Curious to see how you managed the old growth sage brush right before you drop into Denio, LOL.

When I was on the AT in Maine, having lunch next to a lake. Some canoeist landed and gave me lunch and 2 beers. Afterwards, I was hiking along, feeling pretty good as I was numbed to the discomfort. And then I tripped over the most trivial rock and face planted. Well, I'm a light drinker anyway, but always found that I feel it more on hiking trips. So the moral is, don't drink and hike.

Dude. The moral is, build your tolerance.. 😊

@@gibrigg That doesn't seem cost effective. If I built up more tolerance, I'd have to spend a lot more money to get the same effect.

Later the game trails will be critical hiking in the Owyhee canyon.
