hi russ nice to see you out even if it’s coarse fishing lure fishing is basically to mimic a small fish and you will have a better chance if you lower the tip of your rod and make your lure look more like a fish in destress or injured by using the rod tip and twitching it fast retrieves and slow retrieves you have more chance of a fish attacking your lure as they think it’s a easy meal rather than your lure passing them by like a fish that is fit and fast and them thinking how long will i have to chase that for were as a one that passes them that looks distressed or injured they carnot pass a easy meal that’s if fish really think 😂hope that makes sense to you buddy take care 🎣🎣👍
yeah not ideal but making the best of what i can do lol out on the coast again this weekends video and then probably some more canal stuff then out again on the coast end of the month
Hi mate, try alternating with retrieves with slow continuous to fast jiggy retrieves. And try jiggling in-between the moored boats too. You will find a bonus perch and odd jack pike there too. Looking forward to enjoy your freshwater journey with you. Also if water is dark try darker lires and if water is clear shiny bright lures.
Also, fan your casts every time, with different lures. And keep moving a couple of steps every time, too. This only what I do with some interesting and surprising results.
Iv been waiting for this one if your going for perch and plentiful bites you need to go ulf mate I’ll message you on another platform with some info on a company I use for micro soft plastics tight lines Ross
"Fishing Adventures in Wakefield." That is the funniest, unlikliest title of a dull show I can imagine, slightly more exciting than, "Watching moths in Birmingham, but not the nice parts of Birmignham".
Any fishing is better than no fishing. Good to see you out again.
Very true, thank you
