I only used to fish one bit at Stallingborough just after bay 18 . No snags , not as much water but a pleasure to fish . Sadly no more that to see defence . I would fish x but nothing more than 6.3m for me . Come to think of it i remember yrs ago fishing where u are and lost anout 4 sets of gear . I ended up throwing my rod in air and losing 3 eyes on rod . It got me wound up .

I’ve finished the river for years then give up as the debris that’s floating about but I remember the river filling up really fast as the wind was blowing down the river holding back the tide until it was to much to hold then everything came down the river. Had this a few times maybe not windy where you were but further to the mouth it could have been windy. I subscribed as I think you deserve it.

How do you get onto the beach please are there steps or do you have to risk life and limb?

I had a worst/nightmare session on the wall on the corner to where you are fishing in this video... it was my worst session since i started my fishing journey. I went home so beaten but don't give up... brush the session off and get back out and catch them fish 🐟 Take care and tight lines 🎣

I olny ever use weedless rigs nowadays because of how green venues are but I tell u what your giving it a good go ! Keep it up but don’t keep up on the band wagon of poaching and extra you’ll only attract discrimination on your comments

Great stuff russ. I don't do any type of fishing like that but what I've read over the years is they sharks like the margins n cover so I'd personally go with weedless n cast into tho weed area. Great video mate look forward to the next one

If they’re big enough and you’re a decent filleter they’re well worth keeping. Decent eating fish and fish isn’t cheap, get them in fish pie or fish cakes etc.

Great rig for that big bass close in . 6/0 3/0 pennel on the running ledger with big squid or cocktail bait . Big worm bait on the 3/0 top snood .Job done . Many thanks , great Vid .

Really enjoyed watching your video, it's just so nice to have a realistic recording of what fishing is. Rattling rods but no fish, crabs plaguing the bait. Simply real life on the shore with a fishing rod. So when I am out now I never feel that I am lacking any thing, my fishing is very similar. Apart from the fish we catch, which is down to my lack of experience, but it's getting better. Very well grounded and honest videos on your channel, well done.

Was a good sesh codling whitting slugs crabs ...thank god the hully boys gave me fresh bait ..even the crabs wouldnt eat that frozen mush
