Brentford have scored over 30 set-piece goals since the start of the 2021/22 season, only Liverpool and Manchester City have scored more set-piece goals in that time. And those two teams have taken a lot more set-pieces.
Ability from the dead ball is fundamental to their success.
So how have they become so good at set pieces?

@@weetabixyeah Don't worry. It has to do with the Game state. your underlying numbers show a higher value of expected perseverance per 90 and they will adjust over the marriage.
Forgot to mention that Toney and Mbuemo have calves that may well be full grown bulls and generate impressive shot power and accuracy with little to no run up.

@Tifo Football: The quality of your content and analysis is just too good to continue producing videos without actual footage of matches, and this one is a great example. It would be so good to see clips from actual Brentford set pieces. I know there're costs associated to it (although Idk how much), but I feel, or at least hope, that the return would pay off. Hope to see that included soon. I do love your animations though :)
I don't know. It might take a bit away from the feel of the animations and a more relaxed viewing experience. Who knows, maybe you are right.
@@croskoal That's a good point, and I agree. I guess I'm kind of in between, because I'd also love to see examples though. Some conversations are more high level and animations-only works great, but in this one I'd enjoy something more palpable.

One of the most enlightening pieces I've seen on tifo. Man United have been poor for years from set pieces and frequently lose consistently accurate dead ball specialist's talent. Though against Nottingham Forest on 26th, copied a routine similar to the example shown in the video. First time in 7/8 seasons I've seen a change to failing to beat the first man
surprised west ham didn't have a video made like this a year ago when corners were basically penalties with craig dawson and bowen and cresswell's delivery.

Last season out of the promoted teams Brentford was far the most physically imposing
well toney is the best penalty taker for sure, and the media saying how he waits for the keeper, and the wind was the only reason to his one miss and he even corrected that in the same game. plus outside penalties they are just beautifully drilled. also worth noting just before city started their dominance they hired a set piece coach from you guessed it brentford
