- The UN's human rights chief has said he is "horrified" by the destruction of Gaza's Nasser and al-Shifa hospitals and the reports of "mass graves" being found at the sites after Israeli raids.
Volker Türk called for independent investigations into the deaths.
Palestinian officials said they had exhumed 283 bodies at Nasser hospital, some with their hands tied. It is not clear how they died or when they were buried.
Israel's military said claims that it buried bodies there were "baseless".But it did say that during a two-week operation at the hospital in the city of Khan Younis in February, troops "examined" bodies buried by Palestinians "in places where intelligence indicated the possible presence of hostages".

Why is your headline 'Mass graves claims', instead of 'Mass graves discovered' ?
They have to dilute the severity of what's happening, even though, when it comes to mass graves, that isn't possible. People now argue about who buried the bodies, when it's known that the IDF killed them and destroyed the hospitals. They still don't give up. Every news report contains some rhetorical way of inducing uncertainty.

The problem for Israel is that their real goal is to wipe out the entire Palestinian population, which is a genocide along with hundreds of war crimes. You seem unable to grasp the concept that Israel is as responsible for October 7th as Hamas. They had the plans for the attack 1 year before it happened. They didn't have any protection for that area of Israel, instead the IDF were supporting settlers illegaly harrassing, attacking and murdering Palestinians and stealing their land. Which of course is what is still going on and the people in the West Bank have nothing to do with Hamas and over 300 of them have been murdred since October. Seven hours it took the IDF to get to the area where the attack occurred and when the got there they shot rockets from tanks into homes and vehicles with Israelis in them.

They cut water, food and electricity from the hospitals for weeks and they rejected vital medicines going to the hospital. This led to patients dying multiple organ failures, babies died blood poisoing and lack of oxygen as their incubators did not have power due to electricity being cut off.
Some were found with marks of prolonged torture, some with their eyes gouged out. It's beyond horrendous
