The Ashlee wig looks wonderful on you! From what I can tell, I have hair very similar to yours. It’s very fine and after years of styling my hair every morning before work, I have started wearing wigs. I had a shoulder replacement too and it hurts too much to hold my arm up long enough to fix my hair. I recently ordered the Ashlee wig and can’t wait to try it on! Thanks for your support!
Oh wow, Casey, what a lovely message. It's a real pain having to style your hair every morning..which wigs do you like best, do you have a favourite? I just love the bobs and shorter styles for day time wearing, you need something quick and easy that you don't have to worry about right? I hope your shoulder is feeling better now?

I am beside myself waiting for Juno, lets hope it gets here before Christmas. I realised this evening that a year ago you had said you were going to get your first wig. Did you take the plunge? If so, which one was it? Sorry in advance if I should know the answer to this question
@@lifeandhair Yes I bought Mila by Jon Renau in shaded peach. I want Ashlee but think the cap maybe a bit small I measure 22.5in ❤️
@@Clara-wo1hg you know, I've just stretched the cap out and there is still quite some give in it. It may be quite possible for you to wear it comfortably. If only you could try it and send it back if it's too small
Your voice is soothing and I have this wig in this color and a bunch of other wigs but haven't had the courage to go out in them.

@@lifeandhair I ordered Pecan Rooted, and I hope it's ok. My bio hair is darker, but the Honey Rooted is so lovely - I was tempted to try it out. Mine should be here in early January.

I have naturally curly hair, so my hair will curl at the end around the face even after I straighten it. So I don't think it looks wiggy. It looks lovely on you.

Thank you for this. I just want to add, the U.S. is huge, and most of my friends there (in different areas) do NOT wear wigs. There are probably areas or neighbourhoods where it is more common, but generally, wigs and hair pieces are only slowly being used, quietly, secretly. I'm in Canada (BC) and I don't know anyone who wears wigs; it seems to be a "secret" if you do, with the intention of tricking people into thinking it's your "real" hair. It is not commonly talked about - yet.
Your comment is fascinating, the words you’ve chosen really convey the slightly ‘shameful’ aspect of hair-wearing. I would love to see the taboo disappear and I’m working to make that happen, one person at a time. I assume you wear wigs and toppers?
@@lifeandhair Yes, sadly your're right; it's definitely got a stigma here. I've started wearing toppers and wigs quite recently, and it was difficult in the beginning but I decided I would be the first of my friends and family to wear, and it's gotten to be fun and a big relief to be confident and choose what I look like, style and go. As they say here, "you just gotta own it" 😊 and I do. I have learned to style and alter and am now feeling much more confident. Thank you for your positive messages and encouragement here; I concur! 😄(p.s. I am eagerly awaiting Ashlee in my post box - very excited!)

I am excited about Paula Young wigs because they seem very affordable and you can always purchase two or more that you like and not break your bank account.
