Surely the best 50km loop in cycling? And the final descent down the Gardena into Corvara!,,, There’s a great pasta/pizza restaurant on the left as you come into town. The minestrone soup is just perfect. Very jealous. Have a brilliant ride on Sunday. Do the Fedaia/Marmalada from the classic Giro side if you have time.
Sella Ronda is definitely a nice experience to bag. The Dolomites look completely different than any other mountain range in Europe. Two things that I noticed about it: - it's not very hard; it's 50 km+ but it has bunch of descends as well, so you can rest; basically it looks scarier than it is. - the reason why it doesn't make it into my top rides is because of ... well - 4:40. Italian North is heavily industrialized and they love their roads and cars and motorbikes. The traffic is too heavy, too many tourists. I prefer France, Austria, Spain and even Switzerland.
Such an amazing area! I got to ride mountain bike there on the Sella Ronda route that takes you up 7 chairlifts and hits all kinds of trails and gravel paths.
That brings back some lovely memories just everything about it from the views to this beautiful fresh air to the greenery. Fantastic we stopped in a place called Cortina absolutely stunning Ed

Epic ED-VENTURES are back 🎉🎉🎉
You look quite happy in this video 😎
I was at the last week of the GIRO...riding in that setting was one of the highlights of my riding experiences by far.
