We happened to taste the Dosae made from the batter of IDDALIGE by chance recently.
After testing such a soft and unique Dosae I immediately got in touch with Mr Srinidhi and showed my intention of making this video. He came down to our house and discussed his story first before shooting his video. Now here it is the complete recipe video of the famous IDDALIGE batter and also the story of Mr Srinidhi who worked in Madhya Pradesh Forest area and happened to invent this formula of the batter.
He has shown the live Dosae preparation as well.

Dosae Rice 850 grams
Urad Dal whole 250 grams
Bengal grams 50 grams
Toor dal 50 grams
Fenugreek seeds 10 grams
Flattened rice Avalakki 150 grams

It’s hard to get the fermentation here in this cold whether but I kept it in conventional oven and it was very fast

For lower temperatures, use 6 to 8 soya beans along with urad, and no other dals are required, with rice. It works, because soya has a quick fermenting character. U will save money on other dals,
