I love this series technics turntables and I have the SL 1400 still working great, love the design and the heavy duty feel and construction. They also had the SL 1500!/‘Sl 1600. If you look up the turntable online you get a link to technical that show most of their turntables and specs. I know one of them will do repeat track play and I should look it up.
Alot different inside than my SL-1600.. Sans the auto return mech, I assumed they'd have a similar PCB, but they're totally different. 🤔 Anyway, I totally recapped mine recently and the speed is a lot more stable. 👍
Hi, friend. Please tell me how to solve the problem: the engine on the SL-1200 does not turn. I replaced the capacitors with new ones and cleaned the potentiometers. Power is supplied to the board at 18 volts, and 20 volts leaves the board.
I already check the controls and these are my guide Unstable speed problem solutions: 1. Clean all trimmers/Potentiometers/Switches👈 2. Clean connectors/Oil motor👈 3. Resolder Circuit Board👈 4. Recapping👈 6. Check or Replace Transistors or IC in other TT's👈

Yes you're right. Thank you for the info
Great vídeo. I’m experiencing the same speed issue with a sl-3300. Hope it works!
It really works buddy. I have a Guide in my description box. Good luck!!!
Thanks for sharing✌🏼✌🏼
Welcome!!! Thanks for watching! Glad you like my video.
I have a sl-d1 technics. Love it. No speed issues but wanna recap as well.
I hear a clock in background! What do you have?
I have many pendulum clocks

The same brand but the model is different yes the circuit is different. In repairing the technique are all the same.
Thank you, nice work.
Thank you too!

SL-1200 is using a transformer output is 25V AC. Did you check the output of your transformer?
@Woodys_Hobbies , 18V AC comes to the board from the transformer. 22V AC output from the board to the motor
@Woodys_Hobbies sl1200 mk1
@@RulexJBro 22V AC when rectified more or less it becomes 31V DC.
@@woodyshobbies According to the service manual, there should be no more than 26V AC
Great job! Какой молодчина! すごい最高の仕上げですね。
Thank you!!!
Why didn’t you try adjusting the external and internal speed controls first?
