If you really love jazz singers you should check out her latest cover of "My Funny Valentine." She just turned 16 and she has truly mastered this genre of music, seriously I wouldn't rank any of the great female jazz singers from the past over her, some just as good, but not better. Then you can check out her young entry into live performances on Norway's Got Talent at 7 and 8 years old when she shocked the world with her Billy Holiday covers. She does more than jazz although these influences are present in her singing regardless of genre. She also has some original work including two recent singles produced after signing with Republic Records and has an album in the works.
Awesome! this is my favorite song of hers to watch reactions of! It is so fun to watch reactors trying to wrap their heads around what they are seeing and hearing. Believe it or not, you ain't seen nothing yet! She has been the driving force in her musical career since the age of 3. She just turned 16 on Jan 10th. Her parents have wisely put the brakes on so that she can have as normal a childhood as possible. She has full creative control of her contract and her label is not able to promote her until she is ready and done with school. Angelina has been doing her own arrangements for years. In studio or on set, they playfully refer to her as the 'little BOSS'. 9 year 2 month old Angelina, even at this tender age was on a mission to sing for the entire world. No doubt she is a prodigy but unlike any we have seen before. Angelina has always created her own arrangements then deliver a song better than a seasoned veteran. Here is the story why she ALWAYS PERFORMS BAREFOOT. At age 6, while traveling in the Middle East with her mother and grandmother, Angelina noticed a girl around her age standing on the side of the road asking people to step on her bathroom scale to be weighed in hopes of getting some money. Angelina took off her shoes so as to not get the scale dirty and stepped on the scale many times to make the girl feel better. Angelina befriends the girl who was not wearing shoes and has scars on her feet, and learns she is an orphan. The orphan girl tells Angelina how beautiful she thinks her shoes are. Angelina says her shoes don’t fit her well and she wants to give her shoes to the orphan girl who thanks Angelina for giving her the shoes. Angelina asked the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and the girl replied, “I want to become a doctor, but that will never happen since I have no parents and I have siblings so I have to do whatever is necessary for us to survive.” Angelina told the girl to never give up on her dreams. The poor girl asked Angelina what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina replied that she wanted to sing for the whole world. The poor girl said she would pray every day so Angelina’s dream would come true. Angelina still says she thinks of that homeless girl every day and has always performed barefoot to remind her of all the children who are less fortunate. At age 9, she became the youngest published author in Norway’s history by writing a book about this encounter in the Middle East.
Others are trying to put your mind at ease about her "growing into her voice" by recommending her latest covers. The funny thing is, her voice basically had matured _less than 2 years_ after this performance you just watched (where she apparently was a few months past her 9th birthday). You may be a bit skeptical of that claim, but the proof is in the hearing. Look for her rendition of "Feeling Good" live on a TV special called _The Stream Gir Tilbake_ at age 10 (nearly 11), on her official channel (same place you found "I Put a Spell on You"). Some people prefer a different live version she did 6 months earlier on _Allsang på Grensen_ , also on her official channel, but I prefer the later one. It's friggin' *perfect* . (If you want to do both in the same reaction, to compare them, no one would complain. The two performances are different enough to make that worth doing.) Hi! Your concern about her logical change of voice is understandable, but calm down, there is no danger, if anything, to drive us all even more crazy. Here she was 9 years old, she had just won NGT, at 10 the magic in her voice was amazing, at 13 she had matured as if she were already 20, now at 16 we all wonder how such perfection is possible, it's scary think about what she will be able to do with 25.

You need to listen to her newest song from Tik Tok, House of the Rising Sun. You will see how she has grown into her voice. She is being labeled this generations Queen of Jaz. Not everything she singing is Jaz, but you have to react to her I'm a fool to Want you, her studio version, but you'll want to compare it to her very young version of it. So you can compair her 8 year old verions to her 12/13 year old version.
Great reaction. Angelina recorded this performance almost 7 years ago. She is now 16, she has grown into an elegant young woman, her voice has matured and she know how to use it! The journey has been filled with incredible performances, now the pandemic is coming to a close live concerts can slowly open up. Much more than a performance, a visual, musical, and vocal experience deserving complete attention to every second, every movement, facial expression, gesture, and nuance. Possibly the most impressive child singer video ever. Especially when you know she arranged this piece herself to pay tribute to the original artist. Screamin Jay Hawkins was a black entertainer in the mid 50's that did this piece as a parody to get more notice and TV bookings, not an easy feat in the mid 50's for a black man. Her tribute to him was to take his parody song and make a serious jazz piece to honor him. The writing at the beginning is her last minute changes for the band. She is such a selfless artist and person.
I can understand why many are suggesting her latest work, but I would go with your plan to listen to her chronologically so as to hear her unbelievable progression. Watch for any signs of nervousness on her part, you won't find it. A child prodigy that is becoming an adult prodigy, and well grounded role model.

This song is the entrance to the "rabbit hole" and man what a journey it is. These seasoned jazz musicians in this video refer to this 9 year old girl as "The Boss" as she was a big part of arranging this song the way she wanted to perform it. You shall find out that Angelina is a music genius, beginning at ages 7-8 when she performed on and won Norway Got Talent, competing against adults. Found your channel because I love seeing people's reactions to Angelina, especially the first time like this. I subscribed to see more. If you really love jazz singers you should check out her latest cover of "My Funny Valentine." She just turned 16 and she has truly mastered this genre of music, seriously I wouldn't rank any of the great female jazz singers from the past over her, some just as good, but not better. Then you can check out her young entry into live performances on Norway's Got Talent at 7 and 8 years old when she shocked the world with her Billy Holiday covers. She does more than jazz although these influences are present in her singing regardless of genre. She also has some original work including two recent singles produced after signing with Republic Records and has an album in the works.

Awesome! this is my favorite song of hers to watch reactions of! It is so fun to watch reactors trying to wrap their heads around what they are seeing and hearing. Believe it or not, you ain't seen nothing yet! She has been the driving force in her musical career since the age of 3. She just turned 16 on Jan 10th. Her parents have wisely put the brakes on so that she can have as normal a childhood as possible. Angelina released a 3 song Christmas special at 8 years old. Released a full album with the Official Norway military band recorded Age 11. Wrote her first songs at 11-12 and is an unstoppable dynamo with all things music.

9 year 2 month old Angelina, even at this tender age was on a mission to sing for the entire world. No doubt she is a prodigy but unlike any we have seen before. Angelina has always created her own arrangements then deliver a song better than a seasoned veteran. Here is the story why she ALWAYS PERFORMS BAREFOOT.
At age 6, while traveling in the Middle East with her mother and grandmother, Angelina noticed a girl around her age standing on the side of the road asking people to step on her bathroom scale to be weighed in hopes of getting some money. Angelina took off her shoes so as to not get the scale dirty and stepped on the scale many times to make the girl feel better. Angelina befriends the girl who was not wearing shoes and has scars on her feet, and learns she is an orphan. The orphan girl tells Angelina how beautiful she thinks her shoes are. Angelina says her shoes don’t fit her well and she wants to give her shoes to the orphan girl who thanks Angelina for giving her the shoes. Angelina asked the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and the girl replied, “I want to become a doctor, but that will never happen since I have no parents and I have siblings so I have to do whatever is necessary for us to survive.” Angelina told the girl to never give up on her dreams. The poor girl asked Angelina what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina replied that she wanted to sing for the whole world. The poor girl said she would pray every day so Angelina’s dream would come true.
Angelina still says she thinks of that homeless girl every day and has always performed barefoot to remind her of all the children who are less fortunate. At age 9, she became the youngest published author in Norway’s history by writing a book about this encounter in the Middle East.

Others are trying to put your mind at ease about her "growing into her voice" by recommending her latest covers. The funny thing is, her voice basically had matured _less than 2 years_ after this performance you just watched (where she apparently was a few months past her 9th birthday). You may be a bit skeptical of that claim, but the proof is in the hearing. Look for her rendition of "Feeling Good" live on a TV special called _The Stream Gir Tilbake_ at age 10 (nearly 11), on her official channel (same place you found "I Put a Spell on You"). Some people prefer a different live version she did 6 months earlier on _Allsang på Grensen_ , also on her official channel, but I prefer the later one. It's friggin' *perfect* . (If you want to do both in the same reaction, to compare them, no one would complain. The two performances are different enough to make that worth doing.)

She chooses all her own songs & does all her own arrangements ever since she was very young, even when she did Screaming Jay Hawkins “I put a spell on you” at barely 9, even at 7 & 8 on NGT (Norway’s Got Talent). On AGT-Champions S-2 Angie made her outfit from silkscreen patterns of her grandma's art work when she was 13 back in Norway. She makes several of her other outfits for shows & concerts too. She also paints great, plays 5 instruments & speaks & sings 4+ languages, English being her 3rd. Angie turned 16 on 1-10-22. Angie is a very kind, giving, loving, respectful, humble & a big hearted Christian girl. She always sings barefoot when performing & she wrote a book about it at 9 called “Between Two Worlds” & she was/is the youngest to be published in Norway.

Hi! Your concern about her logical change of voice is understandable, but calm down, there is no danger, if anything, to drive us all even more crazy. Here she was 9 years old, she had just won NGT, at 10 the magic in her voice was amazing, at 13 she had matured as if she were already 20, now at 16 we all wonder how such perfection is possible, it's scary think about what she will be able to do with 25.

You need to listen to her newest song from Tik Tok, House of the Rising Sun. You will see how she has grown into her voice. She is being labeled this generations Queen of Jaz. Not everything she singing is Jaz, but you have to react to her I'm a fool to Want you, her studio version, but you'll want to compare it to her very young version of it. So you can compair her 8 year old verions to her 12/13 year old version.
Great reaction. Angelina recorded this performance almost 7 years ago. She is now 16, she has grown into an elegant young woman, her voice has matured and she know how to use it! The journey has been filled with incredible performances, now the pandemic is coming to a close live concerts can slowly open up. Sneaking ahead to get a current glimpse of Angelina isn’t really cheating on the “chronological” approach to reviewing her music. 😉 The song I think everyone is referring to (I haven’t combed over the comments yet) really will give you a good idea as to where she currently is. Like all of AJ’s songs, it will blow your mind, but seriously... her current stuff is off the charts!

Much more than a performance, a visual, musical, and vocal experience deserving complete attention to every second, every movement, facial expression, gesture, and nuance. Possibly the most impressive child singer video ever. Especially when you know she arranged this piece herself to pay tribute to the original artist. Screamin Jay Hawkins was a black entertainer in the mid 50's that did this piece as a parody to get more notice and TV bookings, not an easy feat in the mid 50's for a black man. Her tribute to him was to take his parody song and make a serious jazz piece to honor him. The writing at the beginning is her last minute changes for the band. She is such a selfless artist and person.
I can understand why many are suggesting her latest work, but I would go with your plan to listen to her chronologically so as to hear her unbelievable progression. Watch for any signs of nervousness on her part, you won't find it. A child prodigy that is becoming an adult prodigy, and well grounded role model.

Great reaction. You do not have to worry about Angelina growing into her voice, at 16 now, she, as some credible vocal coaches have stated, could be giving Master Classes in Vocals. This song is the entrance to the "rabbit hole" and man what a journey it is. These seasoned jazz musicians in this video refer to this 9 year old girl as "The Boss" as she was a big part of arranging this song the way she wanted to perform it. You shall find out that Angelina is a music genius, beginning at ages 7-8 when she performed on and won Norway Got Talent, competing against adults. We Angels who number in the millions support her with a passion and really enjoy reactors like yourself that really get it when viewing the talent of this young lady. Look forward to more.
