- The Comedy of Errors is one of Shakespeare's earliest plays and showcases his mastery of comic theater. The farcical tale revolves around two sets of identical twins who are reunited after being separated as infants1. After a shipwreck, Antipholus and his slave Dromio go to Ephesus to find their twins, leading to a series of incidents of mistaken identity. Eventually, the twins find each other and their parents, resolving the earlier problems
