As a 50 yo guy mtbing (xc/dh and now emtb) since I was a teen this was a great watch down memory lane. Steve was a hero for uk mtb riders of my generation. 👌
What a legend. The saying goes "it ain't hoarding if it's organised"... the only things hoarded here are the memories, and who wouldn't wanna hoard so many good ones?!
Rode the chair lift with him a couple times during DH practice at the NORBA national at Seven Springs, PA in 1997. It had been raining just before practice, he was so fast on the mud-covered rocks and roots, and went through the rock garden faster than all the other pros. I've been a fan of his ever since.
I was watching peaty exit the rock garden in Canberra I remember thinking how much faster he was going compared to everyone else ,he had a big dust cloud following him, he sure made the big travel work through that section
The black white and gold v10 they showed I used to own it was Steve pears test frame signed by him too I’ve sold it now but to own that bike at 16 I was on top of the world
Well I don't know, telling an ex world champ that he had 3.5cm less that some other dude back in the day, and then you show us his dirty old helmet . . .

I’m in my 50’s but from Canada, and can say that Steve was a hero here as well. Great watch this one was.
Where is Doddy? This is right up his alley.
Steve was already up doing a feature on ebikes so it makes sense he did it and not doddy

LOVED this! That V10 is stunning. Such a good interview, it was like being a fly on the wall with two buddies talking.
A great talk through Steve's history, and nice to see some of the stuff we have been involved with hanging on the wall, cheers Joe.

No Lts or Lobo..Denied!😂
More evidence that GMBN and EMBN will amalgamate. EMBN is too small to stand alone.
Legend
Try Kirchzarten 95 another name I think Kitly ?
They call Greg the GOAT, Steve's the LEGEND.....Ha !
When is GMBN/GMBN Tech finally going to merge with EMBN? GMBN has had enough cross over episodes already...
Dead set MTB Legend.

Steve Jones is the biggest joker in MTBing, is he still stealing parts from brands like he use to at dirt.
