Naomi Miranda if you skip an ad half way thru or befor its done they only get the 1 cent or 2 cents worth of the ad you were watching. If you watch the full ad they get the full 4 cents. And if you X 4 cents by 20k views its 800$. But if you skip the ad its 1 cent by 20K its 200$. So watching ads especially makes it so they get the full worth of the ad where as slipping half way thru gives them half of the ad revenue. Then if you skip at the 5 second skip mark they dont get anything for it. So not skipping ads shows them that you do like them and your willing to give up some of your time to watch a 30-120 second ad so they can make a bit of money from there videos. Sorry for the long comment and if you dont read it i fully understand. I just wanted it to make as much sence for anyone thats curios to why not skipping ads on a creator you likes videos is a sighn of respect to them.
