Giraffe Build Series! This is the part 1 of a multiple part series on building giraffes! Today is Day 192 of the Metal Relic video challenge! The script is mine, the voice is AI's.
The compilation video will come at the end which includes all five parts and typically extra details about the build. The parts we will need are nuts, bolts, a nail and some chain. You can build it any which way you prefer using any variety of parts.
Tool use is also minimal since all you’ll need is a chain breaker, a vise, and a welder paired with the proper safety gear. I used a grinder to hit the spots where I will be using the chain breaker to separate it. It makes it easier on the tool, and usually keeps the links from getting bent. It's not required, but it makes life easier.
After I separate the chain which consist of four link sections. I weld between the links to keep them sturdy and connected and turn the last link out to make the face and head.
The next part is to make the body. I use a large nut with a smaller nut welded on top kind of like a two part snow man.
