What about providers who bill your insurance for an mri then insist you get another mri before allowing g you to see another dr in the practice (2 weeks later) . They owned the mri. When I refused they said it was ok they'd bill my Medicare ( that I don't have). I had X-rays too. I refused a fusion. Went to another practice and was told I didn't need a fusion as my spinal canal was not compromised. Managed with Rx and Pilates . It worked. Pilates for PT should be covered
I really should have reported this doc. He was trying to get me to say I had pain, in every which way he knew how. He was a spine doc and my guess is no doubt he has performed procedures on patients that did not need them. I didn't say I did because I didnt. Evidently he has a lot of people who see docs as gods.
