The sound increases and increases, more and more, endlessly! What a fantastic mastery! Most pianists even don't know what possibilities they have in their instruments.
Wonderful. Gilels is so unique. No one "dominates" his instrument like he does. He's in complete fusion with the piano. There's no distance, no reverence between the two. It's magic.
..be sure that I know Prokoffiew style and the big universe of Bach....but what I meant is this: the way, Gilels is playing the end of the fugue reminds me on the way he (or Horowitz or Richter) is playing e.g. the last movement of the 7th sonata of Prokoffiew....just assiociatively....I'm not comparing the stylistics of Bach and Prokoffiew....I could - but I don't do it!!! If you don't agree you don't agree....
............so ....... you think the end sound like Prokofiev ??????? . Obviously that you do not know Prokofiev style and the big universe of Bach . Read the books about their history and finally sit at the piano and play like MR. Gilels .

Busoni sure liked to give his fellow pianists a good workout.
Великая музыка, великий Гилельс!!!
Pity for thhe quality, but really excellent. and powerful=Gilels
@Lassannn Ferruccio Busoni, on the other hand was CRAZY.
3:30 the master bob and weaves like the true baller that he is
Bach would be proud.
the sound of an organ tutti is on grand piano not reproduceable, is simply not as good as original sound
