Das 27. Klavierkonzert stellt in mancher Hinsicht das reifste Werk Mozarts dieser Gattung dar. Von der Besetzung her zählt es zu den kammermusikalisch orchestrierten Klavierkonzerten, ähnlich wie beispielsweise das 14. Konzert KV 449. Formal weist das Konzert eher auf frühe Werke vor dem 13. Klavierkonzert hin. Die Vielfalt der Themen ist eingegrenzt und der Solopart weit weniger virtuos und ausgeschmückt als in einigen zurückliegenden Werken, auch hält sich Mozart mit strukturellen Neuerungen zurück. Dennoch enthält auch dieses Werk Eigentümlichkeiten und Neuerungen, die beweisen, dass Mozart bis zum Schluss auf der Suche nach neuen Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten war. So meldet sich das Klavier unüblicherweise auch nach der Solokadenz im ersten Satz noch ausführlich zu Wort. Die Durchführung des Hauptsatzes ist von einer nie dagewesenen Dichte an Modulationen und einer geistreichen Verarbeitung des Themas gekennzeichnet. Im dritten Satz verbindet Mozart lyrische Kantabilität mit der Rondoform und sparsamen thematischen Mitteln. Auch liegt in diesem Werk eine ähnliche künstlerische Gesamtkonzeption vor wie beispielsweise im 20. Klavierkonzert KV 466; so enthält bereits der Kopfsatz das Material des zweiten Themas des Mittelsatzes. Dies ist ein Konzept, das in die Zukunft weist und von Beethoven weiter perfektioniert wird. Zum Kopf- und Finalsatz sind Mozarts eigene Solo-Kadenzen überliefert.
Die besondere Reife und Ausnahmestellung des Werkes ist jedoch von inhaltlicher Natur. Ein schwermütiger Zug liegt über dem Werk, obwohl es meist in Dur notiert ist. Eine schwebende Metrik trägt zu diesem Eindruck bei, ebenso die vorwiegend lyrischen Themen wie das Hauptthema des ersten Satzes. Es nimmt das Finalrondo auf und ist die Melodie des wenige Tage nach dem Klavierkonzert komponierten Liedes Sehnsucht nach dem Frühling. Das ganze Werk weist mit dieser Thematik stark in die zukünftige Epoche der Romantik.

*EQ-Regelung* hat *nichts* direkt mit einer mgl. zugrunde liegenden Restauration zu tun. Sie wirkt aber wie eine Ohr'Brille' und kann (bei alten Aufnahmen fast stets) zu einem klareren Höreindruck der Wiedergabe führen. Das Schöne ist, dass es ohne großen Aufwand erreicht wird. Wer die Musik vom Handy aus (Kopfhörer/Bluetooth) steuert, sollte damit keine Probleme haben!
Intensität am Handy-BB(EQ) *bitte voll* ausnützen; Gesamtlautstärke ggf. auf Ihrer externen Anlage einstellen.
Es ist *NICHT LEICHT,* mittels eines EQ eine merkliche Besserung der Klangqualität antiker Aufnahmen zu finden. Dazu gibt's *kein* Preset! Die hier angegebene Einstellung© hat hunderte Stunden meist kleiner Schritte der Verfeinerung erfordert (durch Abgleich vieler historischer Aufnahmen von ECaruso, Orgel, Violine, Klavier usw. usw. - mit WFurtwängler, ATatum, KRichter, ACortot, etc. etc.), um alle Praxistests zu bestehen. Insofern *ist nur* eine *GENAUESTE !* Befolgung wirklich zielführend in "die 1. Reihe".
Einfach : GENIAL ! Das Gewndhaus Orchester und Masur, großartig ! Eine wahre Freude ! Danke.

Эмиль Гилельс прекрасно исполнил Моцарта! Я впервые услышала этого пианиста в консерватории, где он исполнял концерт Э.Грига, я была еще девчонкой, но сразу влюбилась в пианиста, а теперь я повзрослела и уже слушаю более серьезные произведения и в исполнении Э.Гилельса. Все прекрасно: и оркестр, и пианист, Браво, Музыкантам!!!

A privilege. My favorite pianist.
I practically grew up on this concerto. Fell in love with it at age three and formed a graphical score in my head, so I could sing whichever voice, my own little voice could manage.
When I was teenager I always played some CDs for my sleep to overcome my fear for ghosts in the dark...(seriously)! And, once I chose this concerto and played it every night for almost a year! And because of that I still have vivid memories from that period each time when I listen to this piece...it seems in my case, memories are most strongly connected to music. Very nice to listen to this concerto by Gilels with his golden touch!

Феноменальне виконання цього шедевру В.А.Моцарта! Чудовий ансамбль соліста, диригента і оркестру. Унікально і те, що в тому році Емілю Гілельсу вже виповнилось 67 років! Але його вік тут непомітний, бо це виконання дуже енергійне, надихаюче, наче він легко грає, імпровізуючи прямо перед нами... Справжні чари класичної музики!
Дирижёр постоянно ускоряет, динамизирует оркестр. А Гилельс, как бы в пику ему, нарочито замедляет темп. Несколько вяло прозвучала разработка в 1-й части. Но это только моё мнение.

The best pianists should be those who had the best beautiful colorful piano sound like Wilhelm Kempff Emil Gilels Artur Rubinstein Radu Lupu Vladimir Ashkenazy!! The modern pianists are colorless and cold sounding like Zimerman Kissin Trifonov Hamelin Stephen Hough Buniatishvili Yuja Wang Yunchan Lim! And crazy people are claiming Zimerman Kissin Yunchan Lim the greatest! Dimitri Bashkirov her teacher Anastasia Virsaladze teach saying to Bashkirov the most important Lesson is the Love of the beautiful colorful piano sound! This was already in the 1930s! We need more teachers like Anastasia Virsaladze! The greatest ever really=Wilhelm Kempff Artur Rubinstein Emil Gilels Radu Lupu Maurizio Pollini( genius) Grigory Sokolov( unbeatable rhythmic vitalness!) Sviatoslav Richter!!

There is a great deal to admire and relish here - of course! However I do sense that initially Masur has a more robust conception of this music than has Gilels who treats it as if handling fine porcelain. His former big, virtuoso manner has for the most part been well and truly tamed, aside from an occasional - fully appropriate - surfacing in the development section of the first movement and towards the end of the third. In fact I could have wished that Gilels, for all his wonderfully polished musicianly pianism, would have followed his heart just a little more than his head. The two conceptions (his and Masur's) seem to gel most perfectly in the finale where the music, which can so easily sound trivial, achieves real dignity and cohesion. It's amazing to think that as recently as 1983, the Leipzig Gewandhaus - at least on the evidence of this video - included no women! Thankyou for this valuable piece of musical history!

Gilels was a doubtlessly a very great pianist, and here as always, he plays the instrument most beautifully. But I find this performance to be insistently understated too slow, soft and over-refined; as could only be described as precious. And Mozart is anything but precious!

Но, если концерт написан композитором для фортепьяно, то, фортепьяно должно звучать мощнее, что ли, быть настоящим,, лидером", ,, лезьт своим звучанием во все щели"😀😀😀Верней, Гилельс чересчур ,, деликатен" в обращении с фортепьяно.😀😀😀
I dont think so because you could replace 'feinfühlig' by 'zurückhaltend'. It is pretty difficult to fit the right Mozart style for a Russian interpreter likewise for an Austrian playing Rachmaninoff for example. Richter once said: 'Alles ist schwer bei Mozart'. That says it all!
Gilels' tone however is golden indeed.
The grand pianos with sounds, produced by f.e. Steinway, weren’t invented yet at the end of 18 and beginning of 19 centuries. Full bodied sounds, that we are accustomed to, didn’t exist. Gilels, as Richter and others were aware of that and, I think, implemented somewhat softer execution of Mozart’s and his contemporaries’ music.
Gilels spielt hervorragend mAn. Vielleicht sollte man sich bewusst machen, dass er zum Zeitpunkt des Konzerts etwa zweimal so alt war wie Mozart in seinem Todesjahr. Das kann schon die Darbietung etwas beeinflussen. Vielleicht hätte Mozart in diesem Alter auch etwas verhalten gespielt; was keineswegs negativ gemeint ist:
Gut, dass es verschiedene Interpretationen gibt. Dies war sicher eine Sternstunde für die Konzertbesucher.
Its an interesting reading in the context of the time of performane. By todays taste this is of course far too pomperous, both from pianist and orchastra. Its lacking the lightness so much needed for Mozart
