@menacetosociety471 haha I had just finished watching the 2.5hr long video from Adrian when I watched this clip. I had to rewind it back to make sure I wasn't just hearing his voice everywhere 😂
Aarrgg pissed Me off so fn much 🤬 all I heard was "Me and Me!" What a piece of sh**! My Brother is moving to Norfolk in June. I'll be there next Feb to see him get married. I'm happy and sad. Sent him this case.
His apology letter made me livid honestly. He doesn't take any responsibility or actually make any well apology to the family, it's about how bad HE felt. How bad the situation made HIM feel. It's clear that he doesn't care about the pain he has caused rather he's more concerned about his feelings
I also got a broken jaw and a couple teeth knocked out and I did not find the love of my life until I was 28 years old. I got married at 29 and stayed married until I was 59 when my husband died of cancer. But it's really sad that this poor girl won't have the opportunity to live 30 or 40 years with the right man, the man that loves you with all his heart and soul.😢
I am so sorry you lost your husband to cancer. I hope you have so many amazing memories together that outweigh the tragic ending. Life can truly be unfair. ❤❤❤❤

Hello Adrian! Thanks for your vocal cords. :) Seeing Janelle walking literally within minutes of her tragic end makes my knees buckle. I hope the end of her agony came sooner than later. 💔
Australia's sentencing is an absolute joke. I study criminal justice and I'm so disillusioned with how offenders get a slap on the wrist here, that im getting angrier and angrier every time i see someone else get a pissy little 20 years for some of the most brutal killings. Its infuriating! In America they get life with NPOP, or death. We need to pull our fucking socks up! Justice for the victims!
Yeah really? I got two months jail time cause I missed a appointment cause I was in hospital giving birth to a stillborn baby you have no idea what your talking about
She said the whole of Australia's sentencing and how everyone gets a slap on the wrist believe I could tell you all some stories where that's exactly the opposite. Thank you for your condolences
In the last few years I've seen a great softening in the US justice system. Even when they have the monster dead to rights (DNA, video, etc) , and it's obviously premeditated, they've just been going for 2nd degree charges.
I lost my daughter in 2021. My deepest condolences to the parents of this beautiful young lady, and I’m beyond heartbroken for what she had to go through.
No! Adrian! Seriously, THIS GUY! "ummm it was mental illness and I was on drugs, did I mention I had a bad childhood too??" Then when that fails he falls back on the "I was forced to do it by bad guys". Didn't someone named Jodi use that too after also running the gamut? Glen is a violent predator and I'd watch my loved ones closely near him! In fact I'd move.
@alastor8091 If only she could have defended herself? She literally fought so hard some of her fingers were almost completely severed. Wtf are you even trying to say?
The unmistakable voice of Coffeehouse Crime!!! I have a question for you. Do you have any of your signature dolls? If not, will you be making them available in the future? Thank you for all that you do …
Brilliant job as always with the script, narration & footage if this awful murderer, & honouring Janelle's memory. Adrian from Coffeehouse Crime doing a voice cameo as well! I'd recogise that voice anywhere! Nice to see/hear your humour in the beginning too, Disturban! Cheers! 🎉❤
He murders a woman. Continuously, lies about it, changing his story several times. The hairs, the blood, the prints, the confession, and all the physical evidence pointing directly at him. All that, and he only gets 18 years? What an insult to the victim and her family and friends. Drug offenders get as much.
Not even joking didn’t even get a notification and instinctively thought about watching some Disturban videos and this video was posted only 2 min earlier😭😭😭😭 that’s spooky…
What a horrible crime. I wonder if Janelle had had a relationship of sorts with this man in the past. The horrific injuries sound very personal. Poor girl🥀
Yes, but the injuries were not inflicted by him. He was an accessory to the murder. The real culprit was never convicted. Perhaps Glenn was having an affair with Janelle and his girlfriend found out and killed her, and Glenn being in love with the girlfriend, then agreed to cover everything up and take the rap for it.
I mean yeah probably. She showed up and immediately started numerous affairs. Im not saying she should've been killed cause she shouldn't have but that's a pretty dangerous game to play
I shivered when I heard there where no fingerprints of him on the body , but there where from a unidentified woman .. so scary to thank this guy “ maybe “ only had a roll in the killing , but didn’t do it and yet he is the only one in prison.
He didn't do it. Someone else did. Someone else who had a deep hatred for her, but somehow he was involved and it must have been very serious for him to agree to go to prison. The whole thing just doesn't make sense. There are too many unanswered questions.
The guys wife could be worth a look. She had relations with multiple guys on the island and got into with some girls because of that. She could have had a one night stand with Greg and Greg’s wife killed her in a crime of passion after finding out. Greg chose his wife and helped cover it up which is why his prints were on the tarp and in his car but not on the bodyand with a newborn baby took the fall for her.
"The Coffeeman" sent me, and I'm glad to have arrived here! Really unfortunate circumstances though. Can't believe the details of this case, so horrible.
The trouble with living in a place with a population of only 1800, is that sooner or later you are going to have a disagreement with someone and there is no way of getting away from them. Every time you go to a shop or a pub or a social event, that person is going to be there.
Only 18 years for murdering a young woman. Sadly, in 18 years, she will still be dead. He should have gotten the death penalty or at least life without parole.
*unrelated to this case* Between the Instagram picture of Coffeehouse Crime and That Chapter, your face reveal, and this Coffeehouse collab, I’m losing my true crime mind ❤ You 3 are my favorites!
Coffee House Crime is a good channel. I heard of that one before this one. It's probably why this channel appeared in my feed. Good stuff here too, cheers!
So much for the 18-24, out with a tag after pleading not guilty and retracting his statement. Torture, murder and rape get you 10 years in a cushy prison wow.
He went to jail in 2005 that was 19 years ago. He probably got out after his minimum 18 seen as tho it said he was a model prisoner throughout his full sentence
Omigoodness!!!!! I was sure I was just hearing backwards at the beginning. LMAO Thank you so much for that chuckle as I settle in to make dinner. I've been a fan for a while. Keep up the great work, you are a standout. Thank you
in his confession: "it has and always will affect me deeply, as it has her parents" assuming he is the killer (and I believe he is) that's such a slap in the face to Janelle's parents. he cannot begin to understand their pain. he is not the victim here.
You got a good narrating voice, easy to understand. It's agood thing theres so many linguists around to point out minor mis- speaks for you!Good program, thank you.
I seriously doubt anyone else was involved, otherwise he would have given them up immediately rather than concocting some nonsensical story about a car accident. Great video as always!
That depends on what else he was doing with that couple and what other crimes he would be involved in with them. Maybe that couple has hidden captive girls and he was looking to buy one for a kil game like in some movies. Maybe that couple wanted to take her but she fought too much. Then they said here is your victim you finish her off. The DNA of a woman needs to be looked into. Who knows what other information is hiding or who else is involved or what the complete story is.
Obviously its the best idea to discount literal fingerprints right? Because we only need to look at the evidence that backs our theory right? Lets not pretend this woman didnt show up to that island and immediately make as many enemies as she could
Great hearing Adrian from Coffeehouse Crime, I would follow his choice of true crime channels anytime. This was an interesting case and I will have to try more.
Omg your reveal really made your subs go up so high in short time, i remember when I subbed, I heard that voice and clicked within seconds. There was an incident that happened about ten years ago in Brisbane Australia. A girl who’d been coming home from a night out, passed out on the side of the road, like, half on the footpath half in the actual road. Anyway, it was early morning, not heaps of cars on the roads but people were out travelling to work, and this one man driving to work said he hit something but thought it was just a curb. Got home, saw on the news a girl had been hit, he knew immediately it was him, he felt so bad that he handed himself in and then I guess they let him go home before they officially charged him, anyway he ended up killing himself because of the trauma. I don’t know why I’m telling this story.
Should not have exposed himself to the police at all. You just can't drunkenly fall asleep on the road and expect to be safe. Not even modern princesses (=women). Evolution itself demands the demise of individuals unworthy of living. Princess of your story was exactly like one.
@@vidura he wouldn’t have been charged with anything and he would have known that. He would have gone to the police so her family had closure knowing it was an accident and I guess for his own piece of mind even though he ended up doing what he did. The guilt would have got to him eventually

I got two months jail time cause I missed a appointment cause I was in hospital giving birth to a stillborn baby you have no idea what your talking about
@@DanielleFletcher-d8h
I’m pretty sure she’s talking bout murders. Sorry this happened to you
She said the whole of Australia's sentencing and how everyone gets a slap on the wrist believe I could tell you all some stories where that's exactly the opposite. Thank you for your condolences
In the last few years I've seen a great softening in the US justice system. Even when they have the monster dead to rights (DNA, video, etc) , and it's obviously premeditated, they've just been going for 2nd degree charges.
@@DanielleFletcher-d8h I'm so sorry that happened to flowers 💐
"This place takes case." I can't believe you kept that in! 😂
I lost my daughter in 2021. My deepest condolences to the parents of this beautiful young lady, and I’m beyond heartbroken for what she had to go through.
Coffeehouse Crime guy was the special guest of this segment narrating the suspect’s letter of remorse. Awesome…
No! In fact I'd move.
you forgot, ( he was s.. .xly abused as a child ) 🤔.. out already ..
It's every killers go to excuses these days! But it's dimwit judges and lawmakers, that fall for it every single time.
So it claims😮.
It was a accident
"I accidentally stabbed her 50+ times"
So he's living in the free world now. He should be still locked up. Thank you Disturban and Adrian for the voice cameo. 💠
Was just watching Coffee House, then came over here. The switch happened and my brain messed up lol so happy for this collaboration
How on earth can you hear someone scream in such a manner and do absolutely nothing
And for 30 seconds at that
Its crazy
And on a small island where nothing happens
You hear a woman screaming and don't ring the police? Heard that too many times. Sickening pity play in that letter! R.I.P Janelle.
And a continuous scream for 10 seconds!!
*30 seconds… imagine
Discusting . Shame on him !!!
If only she could've defended herself. Glad I live in the states. You'll never hear me screaming while people ignore me.
Ok, I don't need to see the rest of the video as by the 00:12 time stamp, I've been creeped out enough for the rest of this month 🤣
Why. I covered the phone once i read your post 😅
Seems like these sentences in Australia are super short for what they are.
instantly recognized CHC as the voiceover!
Love Adrian
Not even joking didn’t even get a notification and instinctively thought about watching some Disturban videos and this video was posted only 2 min earlier😭😭😭😭 that’s spooky…
I read your mind 🥸
Me too, lol
@@Disturban I watch your videos everyday while eating food. Thanks for the great content mate…
I just wanted to say that I LOVE what you've done with the channel. Seeing your face and the bloopers on occasion makes me smile 😂
"I accidently hit her with my car and she ended up with 47 stab wounds"... 🤡🤡
That was awesome & supportive of Coffee House Crime.
You're amazing D & CHC. ❤
Rip Janelle 🕊🌾🌹
God bless 👑🙏🕊💜🙌🏻🙌🏻
Adrien did I hear you? I think it was you because I had a sudden and overwhelming urge for coffee. Great work guys!
*Adrian
😂 yes!!
We just need to add in Mike of That Chapter and there's the perfect trio!
LMAO!!! "This place takes case."
Wasnt expecting coffeehouse crime to make an appearance that was smooth AF well played!
"Glen has been released from prison and is living in Christchurch, New Zealand"
Me, living 20 minutes away from Christchurch, New Zealand: 👁️👄👁️
I watch your videos while doing housework. "This place takes case" legit made me pause for a split second and question my sanity. 😂
What a horrible crime. I wonder if Janelle had had a relationship of sorts with this man in the past. The horrific injuries sound very personal. Poor girl🥀
True.. but could just be a random psychopath too.. ugh, this world 🤦♀️
Yes, but the injuries were not inflicted by him. He was an accessory to the murder. The real culprit was never convicted. Perhaps Glenn was having an affair with Janelle and his girlfriend found out and killed her, and Glenn being in love with the girlfriend, then agreed to cover everything up and take the rap for it.
@@BrentTaylor56 that's very likely!
I mean yeah probably. She showed up and immediately started numerous affairs. Im not saying she should've been killed cause she shouldn't have but that's a pretty dangerous game to play
So great that you collabed with Adrian! Two of my favorite creators in one video.
Poor Janelle... That poor lady didn't deserve that. Nobody does. I hope she has found peace now, since she couldn't find it here.
As a fan of both Disturban and Coffeehouse Crime, hearing him cameo here was a delight
HEY!!!
Adrian from Coffee House Crime!!!
What a treat!!!😁😁
"The Coffeeman" sent me, and I'm glad to have arrived here! Really unfortunate circumstances though. Can't believe the details of this case, so horrible.
The trouble with living in a place with a population of only 1800, is that sooner or later you are going to have a disagreement with someone and there is no way of getting away from them. Every time you go to a shop or a pub or a social event, that person is going to be there.
Janelle had a sweet smile and her whole life ahead of her. Her death's so tragic and UNNECESSARY, RIP young lady.
Janelle was such a beautiful young woman. What was done to her has me in tears. I'm deeply saddened for Janelle's parents.
It hurts my heart that she suffered from low self esteem.
Yeah, me too!
COFFE HOUSE CRIME COLLAB??? 2 of my favs working together 😭😭
The landlord was a real one. They took the grieve off the parents of see their daughter like that.
I'm glad you left that part in for the intro. That shi funny asf😂 it gets the best of us
Only 18 years for murdering a young woman. Sadly, in 18 years, she will still be dead. He should have gotten the death penalty or at least life without parole.
sadly women are less important in this world usually judges are men that don't like women see that across the world 😢
That’s gotta be one of the the worst “apologies” I’ve ever heard
what a great collab between a couple of my favorite YTubers! Thanks so much!
*unrelated to this case* Between the Instagram picture of Coffeehouse Crime and That Chapter, your face reveal, and this Coffeehouse collab, I’m losing my true crime mind ❤ You 3 are my favorites!
That chapter and disturban are the best
Poor Janelle 😢 may she rest in peace 😢❤. What a awful monster Glen is it's all about him . Thanks for sharing with us love to you as always Tracey ❤
The crossover I didn't know I needed. Also happy to see you got both play buttons, you deffenitly earned it.
It was more than 10.
He went to jail in 2005 that was 19 years ago. He probably got out after his minimum 18 seen as tho it said he was a model prisoner throughout his full sentence
Our justice system is a joke. Imagine running into your child's murderer at the local shops.
@@NunYa-m4h honestly , that would give the opportunity for TRUE justice....
@@mokosmamlol as if it’s hard to be a “model prisoner”
Omigoodness!!!!!
I was sure I was just hearing backwards at the beginning. LMAO
Thank you so much for that chuckle as I settle in to make dinner.
I've been a fan for a while. Keep up the great work, you are a standout.
Thank you
Man, I love when true crime channels cameo on each others' channels. It really gives this sense of community, which I just. I love that.
The unidentified Dna needs to come to light.
It always does. Just look at the Idaho 4 case 🙄
@@HerrinSchadenfreudewhat about it ?
in his confession: "it has and always will affect me deeply, as it has her parents" assuming he is the killer (and I believe he is) that's such a slap in the face to Janelle's parents. he cannot begin to understand their pain. he is not the victim here.
Love falling asleep listening to your videos, provide more information than most when covering a same topic/story.
Brilliant delivery 🌬👊🤍
Love the coffeehouse crime segment! Surprised me a lot haha. Great video
You got a good narrating voice, easy to understand. It's agood thing theres so many linguists around to point out minor mis- speaks for you!Good program, thank you.
Perfect timing NOTHING LIKE YOUR CHANNEL DISTURB. You never disappoint Much love
Your face being distorted made me laugh really freaking hard, that was a very unexpected and good touch there!
Didn't expect to see a coffeehouse crime clip in this one! I love your channel and Coffeehouse Crimes! What a surprise!
So happy you and Adrian/Coffeehouse Crime finally did a collab after seeing him comment on one of your videos
You can never count on Australia to deal with criminals properly.
It should be investigated regardless. _Everything_ should. That "unidentified female DNA" was suspicious.
I would love to see you in a movie playing the great king or the fearless great warrior, feared by the enemy, loved by the people while the ladies just swoon over you. Disburban and coffeehouse made my day.
I love that Adrian voiced the letter. Love seeing both of you working together.
I always have to watch your videos more than once because I'm old and tired and you have one of those voices that puts me to sleep 😂 (that's a good thing)
If you narrated audiobooks, I'd be even happier!
And Adrian helping out too! ❤
Thank you, Disturban!
I do the exact same thing! 😉
Gotta love a CoffeeHouse Crime Cameo.
Still putting Aussies on blast?
Why D?😂
Much love🙏🇦🇺💙
Cuz we got some weirdos down under.
My cousin married an Aussie, and she loves living 'down under.'
A wise child on a catchy PSA music video once said “don’t be rama rama,” and that’s something I think we all need to take to heart here.
@@viduramate, you’re one of those unworthy. Oh checking your other replies on this channel & you’re a neonazi to boot lol.
@@viduraIf she was so drunk she fell unconscious in the road, then I seriously doubt she was thinking about her safety 🙄
It chills me to my bones to hear about people (especially grown men) hearing a 30 second-long scream and not doing anything about it…
