Being in a north western US state limits us access to exchanges. Which exchange can Warthog be legally sold in the north west US? Our state expects any exchange selling within our state to pay the state for the privilege of engaging in digital commerce. Due to this onerous nuttery, very few exchanges operate legally within our state which of course makes it very difficult for us residents. Coinbase doesn't appear to allow Warthog sales or mining to the wallet. This is our biggest hurdle to overcome to consider trying to mine Warthog. We stopped mining years ago when Ethereum went full screw the miners (Proof of Stake). We are barebone amateurs with just enough knowledge and experience to break our computers and sometimes actually get miners to work!

This is awesome information, thanks Rabid! i don't have any equipment available to mine warthog to make it worth it but i did try to play around with it briefly and i was getting 100% rejected shares and i'm not sure why, any ideas? i was playing with a 3060 on a xeon, then on an R5 3600 and then on an R7 3700x. Great video. My Ryzen 9 7900 + GAINWARD RTX 3080 Ti configuration gives 890 MH/s on MMPOS. On HIVEOS I get about 100 MH/S less. I didn't touch anything on the MMPOS settings except for the power limit, which I set to 300W. I tried various ways to play with HIVEOS to get similar settings as with MMPOS but it doesn't work.
2690v4 will give you about 500 (with any "normal" gpu). No OC of any kind. If you add 2 GPU, not much is gained, but a lot of power more. Important is - 810 mem lock
@RabidMining dang I separated all my dual cpu rigs because it wouldn't work a long time ago with warthog lol. Oh well it's definitely easier on the PSU's lol
No 4090 will be better. But a 3900x maxes out at 6-700 MHs with a 4090. And runs 500 with a 3070. So no point in that gpu with that cpu. Need Epyc 96 core Genoa to max out a 4090, thats a 5000 USD system at least with out the GPU.
According to your video a 4090 is around 10% faster than a 3060 Ti i Shaverus. So your 3060ti should give 2,7 GHz on you dual epyc. That will not be the case at all.
Dual epyc is double of a 3060ti so the GPU will be the bottleneck by a lot making it a bad pair. Want them as close together as possible the farther they are off from each other more diminishing returns you get.
Hope This Helkps you Understand Kinda Whats Going on And To Pair Up Hardware faster!!
Keep pumping warthog! 28gh and climbing!
Let's go
Great Video!! In your opinion, with a ryzen 9 5950x is a 4060 sufficient? Or are 3060/3070 also fine?
3070s are good for that combo if you have a 4070 then use it.
@@RabidMining thanks, i have 4070 super but I wouldn't want them to be too powerful for the cpu
@cb2415 miner will tweak for both if that's your best cpu then it will be the best pair.

Rabid, are yoy running your CPUs on base clocks or should we try boost clocks and undervolt?
I run xmr OC on everything so base clock and undervolted.
Great breakdown. I dont see many posting hashrates on intel CPUs. I'm curious how the xeons would perform.
Not to sure seen one with a intel a770 and it sucked so dunno if it's the xeon or the gpu that sucks lol.

Thanks for the video, is there a way to set the parameter on Hive Os?
What parameter? I set my CPU threads in "Extra Config" with "warthog_cpu_threads":12 On BZ 21.5.3 you can use "cpu_threads":12
@@_TEKNOIR_ Parameter for --warthog verus_hr_target 0 (or other nu,ber). If I insert in extras it gives me an error. Did I do something wrong?
@cb2415 for hive it looks like for 5gh example "warthog_verus_hr_target": 5000000000
