unikity 5 mosquitos are more useful despite the chance of containing a disease. The male mosquitos dont drink blood rather they pollinate plants(basically harmless bees).
The females are the ones that need blood in order to survive and reproduce

I felt something bitting me one day but I couldn't see it. Then the next morning I woke up and I had thousands of bites on my right side of my body. It's the side I had slept on. Long story short the itching and crawling sensation lasted a total of 9 months. It had costed me 10's of thousands of dollar's, and I almost mentally broke. Even when they're not biting you, you still feel them so you're really not sure if you've killed them all.

I feel bad for you. My friend started getting what she thought were rashes. I told her they looked more like bug bites too me. By the time she figured out it was bed bugs her whole home was infested. She had to pay 1,500 to exterminate with heat. She thinks she brought them home from a cruise she had gone on. She says the same as you. Wakes up itchy and paranoid still.

@@pj123xyz I had exterminators actually try the same thing and they came back though. The problem is they hide in corners and practically everywhere so unless they moved the furniture out and do every square inch.... Hopefully hers isn't that bad though. My problem was I just bought a brand new bed 3k and wardrobe 1,500 and had a 3k+ bill from the exterminators for multiple things done. I actually have some land so I burnt everything after the treatment didn't work and after my attempts ended in failure. It wasn't until I was able to know which rooms were infested and I burnt everything I couldn't treat myself. So basically 80% of my stuff. I then soaked everything with this spray I got from amazon. It was about the 8th different spray I used, but it worked like a charm. J T Eaton all natural oil based it comes in a gallon I used about 4 and sprayed my entire house with it. It's the only damn thing that worked.

    • @pj123xyz
      @pj123xyz 6 років тому +17

@@nathanhensn8717 that sucks. The exterminators my friend used heated the entire house, all the bedrooms to over a hundred and fifty degrees. They went through and flipped everything over, matresses, couch , all the furniture to make sure the heat got to everything. They gave her a guarantee for 6 months. They have to come back and redo if necessary. I hope it works. I'll never buy anything used again if it's something they can hide in including electronics. I had a coworker had bought a used microwave and game console and got bed bugs from that.

+Nutjob Joe You think that's something? One time, when I was getting ready to take a sip of Dr. Pepper from my plastic bottle, as if it came out of nowhere, *A STINK BUG* got into my mouth, and I almost swallowed it. I immediately spit it out somewhere (I forgot where exactly), and then I had to take in some fluoride several times, until that nasty taste went away. I still hate it how they come in our houses every winter, all started from a cargo ship "accidentally" transporting them to Philadelphia. I really am getting fed up with these human-introduced pests, and I wish they (we) would do something about it. I don't want them killed off, but rather a mega sized glass jar that would hold as many of them as it could. That way, we could voluntarily remove them from wherever they might be, fit them into the jar, and ship them back to their native habitat.

My wife came home from her job working with kids (3 in the class have them) once we discovered we had them it was catches under the bed posts lots of diatomaceous earth and very very aggressive steam cleaning. Luckily for us we found them pretty quickly, it was 8 weeks of super aggressive steaming and completely changing our laundry habits. Washed and dried everything possible and bought a heater for the things that couldn’t be dried. We basically stopped the egg laying cycle by every 4 days steam cleaning the beds and frames and the furniture. Haven’t seen any since.

pranav kumar Go out and buy a few rolls of (panting drop cloth but is plastic) type of plastic cover all if you can floors, under the bed, on top of the mattress, over the head board. And to make the traps buy a bunch of yeast, sugar and use empty plastic small water bottles, containers that will hold the water bottles like a used clean margarine container, wide enough not to allow the water bottle to touch the sides, aluminum foil, some oil, paper towels and tape,. Mix in warm kitchen, in warm big mixing bowel, 3 Cups 3 sugar, 3 packet of yeast, 6 Cups of warm water, not too hot, set for about 1/2 an hr. See bubbles mixture should expand. Then while that is setting add holes to the tops of the water bottles with a nail and hammer or a prying knife,, and the get the bigger containers and wrap the outside of it with paper towels and tape making sure the bugs can climb up it to the top edge, where they will then fall down into the trap. line the inside of the big container with oil, used cooking oil works fine, and then also cover bottom of water bottle with a layer of oil too so when the try to climb the won't be able to. Add mixture to all bottles one has collected, the mixture should appear like a clear yellow fill to almost the top. Then place in container, then cover the top of the bottle with aluminum foil allowing space for the gasses of the yeast mixture to be released in a downward angle so that the target is the bottom of the big container. Place they traps at foot and head of bed, out of the way of pets, in TV room, under couch, in office,,, Depending on infestation you should see results quite quickly,,,,, And expect to keep the plastic out for at least 6 month or more. The traps can last a week, check on them and redo as necessary,,,

I went through a case of bed bugs and believe me, it wasn’t pretty, we was in a clean condo apartment, here in Chicago we are under severe bed bug infestation and there are all over the city on the trains, the buses and etc... They like wood and dark dry spots and just because you get them in your house doesn’t mean your home is nasty it just means one latched on to you while you were out

Craftsman 60,000 BTU Propane forced air heater at lowes $109.00 (2) 5 gallon propane tanks $40.00, One laser thermal gun $24.00. 2 box fans $20.00 to circulate heat in room so all corners and areas heat up as evenly as possible. Was able to split apartment into 2 sections dividing through a doorway with a comforter screwed to the wall. Carefully put heater under comforter making sure it was secured and no part would fall into the intense heat. Air intake is on col side of the room, the killing heat on the other. Turn on heater, it took me 1 hour to get heat up to 120F in all corners, used thermal heat gun to check. Now leave the heat running for another 2 hours to kill, after hour 2 the heat was around 150, left it for another hour. Then repeated the other half of the apartment. I would walk in several times and move things around, fluff clothes, bedding, turn couch on its back, move the mattresses around so there was never a cool spot under anything. You can with stand the 150 degree heat for a few minutes. Happy to report no more bites and I've been inspecting daily now weeks to make sure they are gone. For a larger house get 2 or 3 forced air heaters. It'll be way cheaper than paying someone $1200 to do it for you, and if they return you have the tools already to kill them. Search Propane Bed Bugs to see some videos of people doing this and save yourself some money. Remember It's WAR!!!!! Kill them!!!!

It looks like my hubby & I have a small issue with BB's; we think from our new cat who brought one or eggs to our home from the shelter. Note: It is not the CAT infested - the cat was just the method of travel. It is the SHELTER that might be affected and I've contacted them. As we've progressed with our investigating, it looks like (luckily, thank God), they are only congregating within the bed. I've inspected our leather couch in the living room (always inspect with a bright flashlight) and it looks free of BB evidence, but I am vacuuming it well anyway as precautionary measure. We have 2 mattress & pillow encasements on the way. As soon as the pest was discovered my hubby & I attacked same day. Here's what we've done so far within two to three days of discovering a live bug:
    1) Inspected, Hunted and Killed all live ones found.
    2) Vacuumed twice thoroughly the bed frame, the boxspring, mattress, floor and wall side boards in the area.
    3) Sprayed ALL bed areas generously with Blaze Pro Bed Bug Killer spray, this includes the boxspring and mattress. Follow the instructions on the can carefully. This product is from Canadian Tire, not all that expensive.
    4) Laundry & Dryer of clothing, linens, blankets and sheets for minimum of 40 minutes on the hottest setting.
We will repeat this routine every three days for a while. I say for a while because we want to make sure we get ALL of them, from the egg stage to the adult stage, and there are 5 stages total, so do the math. We are confident our initial hunt & attack eliminated all the adults (adults being Stage 5) and Stage 3-4 bugs. Now we're focused on the eggs, nymphs, and Stage 1 and 2. If you can kill the adults that reproduce, then quickly get the eggs, nymphs, Stg 1/2, that should get you ahead of the bugs, so long as your problem is minor. Major infestations are a whole other story which I haven't yet experienced nor do I ever want to.
Aside from just simply being disgusting and creepy, the biggest issue I have are the bites. I do react to them (I also react badly to mosquito bites, so it makes sense). TO AVOID BITES DURING THE BATTLE: 1) Keep your sheet and blankets on top of the bed (don't allow the sides to fall over or worse, touch the floor beside the bed). 2) Put light colored sheets on if possible (ie. white/cream/light beige), this will help you to see them. 3) Sleep fully clothed in clean clothes, like as though you're camping. Thick socks tucked over the pants and long sleeve top. If you are getting bit on your neck (thankfully we are not), I would recommend sleeping in a Turtleneck, this might help. Remember: If they can't feed, then they cannot move to the next stage which would bring them closer to adulthood and Adulthood = Reproduction. Reproduction = BAD.

I had a 2 year war with bed bugs. I won but, hope to never deal with them ever again.
I am doing the following to prevent the acquisition of those nasty parasites:
    1. do a 15 minute bed bug check whenever staying at a hotel or someone else's house
    2. check movie theater, bus, or train seats for BBs.
    3. wash or dry clean newly purchase clothing especially used.
    4. vet used furniture for BBs before picking up or purchasing.
    5. plan out errands carefully instead of going back home times in one day.
My steps to prevent an infestation of bed bugs after traveling:
    1. Let car sit in the sun if used for going to the airport or on a road trip
    2. Remove all clothing from suitcase and put into plastic bags one for dry cleaning and one for machine wash.
    3. take off shoes and bag it before going inside
    4. steam the suitcase and shoes.
    5. avoid sudden movements or sitting on furniture once inside to avoid dispersal of BBs.
    6. remove outfit from self and bag it as soon as possible.
    7. take a hot shower and scrub thoroughly
    8. bag towel and bath mat.
    9. put on fresh clothes.
    10. wash all machine washable items in hot water and dry in high heat.
    11. Take non machine washable items to the dry cleaners.
    12. carefully bring electronics and toiletries inside don't rush
I am also doing steps to minimize risks:
    1. be a deep cleaner not a surface cleaner.
    2. keep clutter to a minimum
    3. shower every day.
    4. keep dirty clothes away from furniture or beds.
    5. place bed bug traps to monitor for 2 weeks if there are any welts or bites after waking up.

It takes one person to have bed bugs attached on their shoes, clothing, ect to transfer to your home. My aunt had bed bugs in her apartment and her son would always come over all the time. I didn't even know what they were or had looked like until my daughter started having welts appear on her skin! I'm surprised all the doctors I've been to didn't know what a damn bed bug bite had looked, and I felt so hopeless because it was soooooo horrible! I one day traveled to a doctor an hour away and she immediately said they were infected bed bug bites and that she had a bacterial infection growing inside of her body! They are seriously disgusting and really hard to get rid of. I had to throw everything I owned away because it takes one bed bug to evolve more from a single feeding! This made my skin crawl and brought back the exhausting memories of my daughter suffering and all. Every day i check my beds and all because it gave me paranoia.

Bed Bugs pierce the skin with two hollow tubes. One tube injects saliva which contains an anesthetic ensuring numbness, while the other contains an anticoagulant ensuring uninterrupted blood flow during feeding.
Bed Bugs feed every 5-10 days with each feeding lasting approximately 3-5 minutes, after which they go back into hiding. Bed Bugs can go without food for nearly 1 year.

Anyone dealing with these, do favor and get an inspection. Most reputable companies will do a FREE inspection, this will inform you of the severity and scope of the infestation. Don't be afraid to negotiate with the cost as well as seek out other companies. Also, I have some information on my site that will be useful to anyone concerned about bed bugs. You can find it on my YT profile.

After two or three weeks of getting bitten all over my body and not seeing what was doing it I thought i was going mad. Painful bites that swelled up all over my arm, legs, ankles, even privates. Last night I kept waking up itching and realised I'm being bitten by something right now. The thing is they bite you when your in your deepest sleep so very hard to get them there and then. I sprung out of bed and started hunting. Couldn't see anything . Was looking everywhere and then in a crease under my pillow after weeks of looking I finally found a bedbug. Squeezed it and it was full of my bloof. I actually can't believe how difficult it is to catch them. I'm not playing anymore I'm going to go to war with these things because they are causing me misery. Wish me luck.

These things are smarter than you think. I had 3 picc lines at different times during bad health issues. Staying in many different houses and places over the past few yrs i have had over 30x woken up with a very big swollen itchy bite on the picc line scar over my artery. I also just learned that having 0- blood type and being the only one always to get bit by bigs that mosquitos actually target this blood type the most. As with all blood sucking creatures i believe they feed off the rich healing 0 blood types.
