Cutch may be a guy Pirates fans will always love and a guy that gets remembered fondly, but he could have been a LEGEND. 2013 NLDS. The Pirates after 21 losing seasons win 94 games, and they make the plalyoffs. Cutch wins MVP. Pirates win Wild Card Game. NLDS brings the vaunted Cardinals. Pirates go up 2-1 in the series with game 4 at home. In a Pitcher's duel, Pirates are down 2-1 going to the ninth. Pirates get a runner on and move him over. There's two outs. Andrew McCutchen comes to the plate, at home, on national television with a chance to tie the game with a hit or becoming legendary with a HR. The NL MVP popped up and the game was over. If that scenario ends different, Cutch is a God in Pittsburgh.....

Look, gang, WE ALL LOVE CUTCH! The fact that everyone from the Giants to the Yanks to the Phils want to claim him as their own - and would welcome him back - well past his “prime,” speaks to his charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent. However, only one town he ever played for did he return to promising him the most games playable with the smallest paycheck and having named his first born “Steele.”
Cutch clearly loves Pittsburgh, and if he ran for mayor tomorrow on no political platform here whatsoever, he’d likely win, the same as he would’ve here the same way from 2011-2016.
We love you forever in Pittsburgh, Cutch!

I'm shocked he started his MLB career at 18 back in 2005, something like Kevin Garnett. Talk about a man dedicated to his craft, forever remembered in my lifetime.
