It depends. Both high sensitivity and low sensitivity have pros and cons. Its all about personal preference. High sensitivity means you can turn quicker but it can also make it difficult to control and aim. However the hack is still very much valid because after a lot of practice you learn how to aim and control high sensitivity ironing out the cons...

No it won't. The battery won't charge when it is at 100%, so if anything it will maintain the battery condition better as it will be going through less charge cycles.

For PC games like Counter Strike, a low sensitivity helps. A lot. If you're used to a high sensitivity, learning how to use a low sensitivity pays off. Get an accurate mouse, a big mousemat and it shouldn't be much of a problem. For Counter Strike, I would recommend, if you were normally on a very high sensitivity, to go to 500 DPI and an in-game sensitivity of 3.5-ish, and then maybe move down to 2.5 or something like that. Another thing that I've realized, that might be more useful in competitive games where you need to be focused at all times, is to eat before you play since if you're hungry, it's harder to stay focused. (welp, for me atleast~) (I wrote "a high sensitivity helps" instead of low. I fixed it. I'm incredibly sorry and I want to apologize. This will never happen again, so please don't be mad at me.)

It will help you focus and get more headshots in COD or whatever lol Also don't forget to eat, coz hunger might cause you to black out during game and that is bad for your k/d ratio LOL Another hack - don't forget to wear your glasses during gaming sessions (if you have bad vision), coz it will help you aim better and therefore kill all 'em noobs! Everyone debating about "lower sensitivity" vs "high sensitivity"... honestly it comes to personal preference. I've tried adjusting to a low Sensitivity, because it makes sense that lower sensitivity would increase accuracy due to the reduction in "shakey-ness" from the mouse picking up the tiniest of hand movements , but i just can't get used to it. I find that i have absolutely no problem finishing in the top 3 runs of almost every match with my sensitivity at 8 or higher (for console cod). So at the end of the day it really just comes down to what works better for you. I'm all for trying all options out to sample and get a feel of what matches your play style, but don't play high sensitivity or low sensitivity just because some guy in a comment section on UA-cam who's never seen you play before told you too.
Higher sensitivity, as long as you can handle it, is always better. There is no discussion. If it means you can't aim, then of course you need to turn it down, but say you're accuracy is equal on every setting, then the highest is obviously the best, because you can track a guy faster, and if you get shot at from behind you can turn around faster, and maybe get the kill.
again thomas, that's for you, some people, my friends included, need senstiviity at like 3 on console, and they play better that way. Not everyone is the same, hence why they have options for sensitivity
Skamux Again; and I only use caps here to make my point, and not because I'm raging out, IF YOU CAN HANDLE IT, higher sensitivity is ALWAYS better on consoles, and that is no discussion. At a lower sensitivity (say 3) in most cases you won't be able to turn around quickly enough to kill a guy shooting at you from behind, and if you're up at point blanc and aiming down sights, you won't be able to track a guy running past you. I used to need to play on low sensitivity (in the 2-4ish range) but I quickly realized I wasn't able to do the things i mentioned here. So I turned it up by 1. It took me some time to adjust, but after a few hours I was good to go. A waited a while longer ofc, and then I turned it up 1 more. (I usually up the sensitivity after about a day or two, depending on how much I had a chance to play). If I've been away for a while, I'll turn it back down again, to get back into it. Now, that I'm playing in the 6-7 range, I'm spending a bit longer before turning it up, but I'm not sure if I'm gonna go all the way, because I'm starting to think if I go much further I'll start to loose the advantage.

I don't think I'll go higher than my current sens. level (7) because I won't be able to be as accurate. I don't see why this is so difficult for you to understand, because My logic is absolutely flawless. For the Counter Strike series (Cs, Cs:cz, cs:s and cs:go) Its good to put your sensitivity low. Having high sensitivity makes shots incredibly inaccurate and can really stress the player. Even for doing tasks that require skill (Photo Editing) you should turn your sensitivity down and try to smooth it out.

Whenever you're not playing, plug your controller and let it charge. It's that simple. Imagine you have your gaming setup in your living room and you have space that you use to walk through the couch and TV and if you're plugged in while playing, you'll just be blocking the way for your peeps.
+Rohan Sharma Yeah, I use the xbox one controller on a few games on my PC, I like wireless even though Im right next to the USB's I tend to bring my hands and controller on my lap and under the desk for some reason, I broke 1 controllers micro USB doing that before the wireless thing cam out for it. I also use my PC as my TV in my room and I use a program where I can use my controller as a mouse and keyboard, so when I go to bed I like to watch a stream or a movie or even youtube till I fall as sleep without touch the keyboard or mouse.

Turning sensitivity higher for a pc is just stupid when it comes to competitive gaming, having a high sensitivity screws up your aim, especially in games like CS:GO, it's better to have a very low sensitivity in fps games because small incorrect movements by your hand will not change the position of your cursor that much, it also helps you to get better muscle memory.

I'm stepping in for Austin here. I have a raspberry pi. I love it. It's different than a regular PC though. You can't really play games on it unless you emulate, and running windows is near impossible because it's running an ARM architecture. The raspberry pi is mainly used for DIY projects. It's a fun little device though. I say get one and tinker with it because its only $35.
I have thought about buying one. It sounds interesting and extremely worth it considering it is only $35. I wouldn't want to run games on it I would probably program like it was generally meant to be used for. Thanks for sharing though!
From an experienced RPi owner, here is my sage advice: the Raspberry Pi is meant for people that want to get into the hardware-modding and simple programming groove without spending a lot of money, as well as teaching you about operating systems and the Debian Linux command line. It's perfect for making DIY projects like smart house lighting, music cloud management and more, but with the power of an ipod touch, games of high calibur are a tough sell. Make sure you look into it and figure out exactly what you want from the machine before delving into it. cheers!

Good game hack for those who own the Wii. Sell the Wii and get a gaming PC, then use Dolphin and emulate the games there (keep the wii remotes, you can use them via bluetooth). Can do this with the DS, PS2, Gamecube, N64, with other emulators. Bam, more room for more peasant boxes :p.
Yes, everyone knows what an emulator is. But wouldn't really consider it a life hack, as most people like to play it on the actual consoles. Plus, if you sell your games and play it on an emulator, you don't own the game, so its illegal >_
NinClemDeux You still have those features m8. Look that shit up. Before, you could play online with Dolphin. People did it with all types of games. You can install all the channels and whatnot to. Even then, you can use your Wii remove and numchuck just fine with Dolphin, there was little to no difference (you can play Wii games at 1080p unlike the Wii itself even.). It's legal if you actually own the copy of the game last time I checked if you make a backup ISO of the disc.

Austin you should know that the best players on PC use low sensitivity such as 400 dpi or there abouts for maximum accuracy, that way small movements is really easy, and long movements are precise, anything too high and you are inaccurate, watching what you showed with the high sensitivity proves it, you were all over the place

Maybe your connection is so great that it doesn't matter, but, a cable transmits data a lot better than over a wireless signal, everyday of the week. Sorry, but no matter where you are, and ethernet cable is much better than wifi.
In the Netherlands most WIFI signals are corrupted by all the other WIFI around... so actually more reason to go cable! it's like gaming on a laptop while you have space and money for a desktop... Why go "ok" when you can get "great" ;-)
yes. whats wrong with it? it gives you more reaction time. if someone is shooting you from behind you want to turn as fast as possible to be able to shoot it. while having lowest sensitivity, you will most likely be dead by then

It depends. Both high sensitivity and low sensitivity have pros and cons. Its all about personal preference. High sensitivity means you can turn quicker but it can also make it difficult to control and aim. However the hack is still very much valid because after a lot of practice you learn how to aim and control high sensitivity ironing out the cons...

For PC games like Counter Strike, a low sensitivity helps. A lot. If you're used to a high sensitivity, learning how to use a low sensitivity pays off. Get an accurate mouse, a big mousemat and it shouldn't be much of a problem. For Counter Strike, I would recommend, if you were normally on a very high sensitivity, to go to 500 DPI and an in-game sensitivity of 3.5-ish, and then maybe move down to 2.5 or something like that.
Another thing that I've realized, that might be more useful in competitive games where you need to be focused at all times, is to eat before you play since if you're hungry, it's harder to stay focused. (welp, for me atleast~)

Everyone debating about "lower sensitivity" vs "high sensitivity"... honestly it comes to personal preference. I've tried adjusting to a low Sensitivity, because it makes sense that lower sensitivity would increase accuracy due to the reduction in "shakey-ness" from the mouse picking up the tiniest of hand movements , but i just can't get used to it. I find that i have absolutely no problem finishing in the top 3 runs of almost every match with my sensitivity at 8 or higher (for console cod). So at the end of the day it really just comes down to what works better for you. I'm all for trying all options out to sample and get a feel of what matches your play style, but don't play high sensitivity or low sensitivity just because some guy in a comment section on UA-cam who's never seen you play before told you too.
Higher sensitivity, as long as you can handle it, is always better. There is no discussion. If it means you can't aim, then of course you need to turn it down, but say you're accuracy is equal on every setting, then the highest is obviously the best, because you can track a guy faster, and if you get shot at from behind you can turn around faster, and maybe get the kill.
again thomas, that's for you, some people, my friends included, need senstiviity at like 3 on console, and they play better that way. Not everyone is the same, hence why they have options for sensitivity
Skamux Again; and I only use caps here to make my point, and not because I'm raging out, IF YOU CAN HANDLE IT, higher sensitivity is ALWAYS better on consoles, and that is no discussion. At a lower sensitivity (say 3) in most cases you won't be able to turn around quickly enough to kill a guy shooting at you from behind, and if you're up at point blanc and aiming down sights, you won't be able to track a guy running past you. I used to need to play on low sensitivity (in the 2-4ish range) but I quickly realized I wasn't able to do the things i mentioned here. So I turned it up by 1. It took me some time to adjust, but after a few hours I was good to go. A waited a while longer ofc, and then I turned it up 1 more. (I usually up the sensitivity after about a day or two, depending on how much I had a chance to play). If I've been away for a while, I'll turn it back down again, to get back into it. Now, that I'm playing in the 6-7 range, I'm spending a bit longer before turning it up, but I'm not sure if I'm gonna go all the way, because I'm starting to think if I go much further I'll start to loose the advantage.

For the Counter Strike series (Cs, Cs:cz, cs:s and cs:go) Its good to put your sensitivity low. Having high sensitivity makes shots incredibly inaccurate and can really stress the player. Even for doing tasks that require skill (Photo Editing) you should turn your sensitivity down and try to smooth it out.

I also use my PC as my TV in my room and I use a program where I can use my controller as a mouse and keyboard, so when I go to bed I like to watch a stream or a movie or even youtube till I fall as sleep without touch the keyboard or mouse.

Turning sensitivity higher for a pc is just stupid when it comes to competitive gaming, having a high sensitivity screws up your aim, especially in games like CS:GO, it's better to have a very low sensitivity in fps games because small incorrect movements by your hand will not change the position of your cursor that much, it also helps you to get better muscle memory.

I'm stepping in for Austin here. I have a raspberry pi. I love it. It's different than a regular PC though. You can't really play games on it unless you emulate, and running windows is near impossible because it's running an ARM architecture. The raspberry pi is mainly used for DIY projects. It's a fun little device though. I say get one and tinker with it because its only $35.
I have thought about buying one. It sounds interesting and extremely worth it considering it is only $35. I wouldn't want to run games on it I would probably program like it was generally meant to be used for. Thanks for sharing though!

Maybe you use a ethernetcable but in the netherlands our wifi is better then your cabled network
Maybe your connection is so great that it doesn't matter, but, a cable transmits data a lot better than over a wireless signal, everyday of the week. Sorry, but no matter where you are, and ethernet cable is much better than wifi.
In the Netherlands most WIFI signals are corrupted by all the other WIFI around... so actually more reason to go cable! it's like gaming on a laptop while you have space and money for a desktop... Why go "ok" when you can get "great" ;-)

yes. whats wrong with it? it gives you more reaction time. if someone is shooting you from behind you want to turn as fast as possible to be able to shoot it. while having lowest sensitivity, you will most likely be dead by then
