Me too. Love your videos. You're so clear. It gives me a way to see things I couldn't always see and it's frustrating. I'm going to try to make one for my adult daughter.
I love this! You are my new favorite tutorialist because of how well you explain everything and dont rush through the difficult parts! Doing this today and cant wait!
I really like the pattern and would like to make a blanket. I'm working on a C2C afghan and almost finished. I really enjoy your videos and find your instructions very clear.
Thank u so much for your clear instruction. As a newer crocheter, I get messed up on where I'm inserting my hook especially during turns. Will certainly try this new project.
Oh my word, cute! I'm drowning in projects right now, including 2 hats for a friends kids, queen size quilt, & 4 zipper pouches...but this is cute too!!
Hi Melanie! I love your tutorials. You're a great teacher & great at explaining & showing what I need to do. Thank you! Would you consider creating a So Cal fall/winter weight poncho, please?!
Hi melanie I liked your vedios , u really made crochet simple for beginners like me 😊 I learnt alot from you i started with the blanket , i will send u the picture of it when i will complete it , but it will take many evenings as you also said in your vedio..😊
Hi - I just stumbled onto this video. LOVE LOVE LOVE! I was looking for a long scarf idea, and love the stitching of this one. Do you think this would work for a simple long scarf instead of a shawl? Thank you for your amazing tutorials.
That's good how you leave a long tail to weave in later. I see a lot of crocheters only leave short tails that aren't long enough to weave in and that gets me thinking how will you be able to weave that tail in later? It's going to be pretty hard but there are some people who don't like to weave ends in. We're all different.
I love the concept, but would like to know how much skeins I would need in a simple acryllic yarn with a 4 mm hook, since I don't own this kind of yarn, or a hook. And around here, we don't have "Wallmart" nor "Joanne's" or the famous "Hobbylobby". I'm bedridden, so this type of project would be ideal to warm my shoulders, now it's so cold outside, my hospital bed is in our living room and I hate sleeping in a room with the central heating crancked up too high ... Thanks in advance for your advice ! Love from Belgium !
Just saw your comment, hope you’re better now, but if you need help I can buy yarn for you and send you ( I’m in California), or you can get everything online as well.
Im having such a hard time finding this yarn in stores. Its not in Joanns, Michaels, or Wal-Mart. I guess ill have to bite the bullet and just order online (ugh, S&H when broke!). Its too gorgeous not too! ❤😍
I love this pattern, however, the written Instructions are very incomplete. It stops at row 2, I believe, then it states to repeat the “rows” until length is reached. Do you plan to update this pattern? I would like to print a copy for my files. Thank you.
I've been crocheting pieces like this, for myself and others. I make the shrugs like this one among other styles, because I love pieces that are versatile and that are able to be worn several ways I've been charging $25 for my pieces, and super size Infinity scarfs. But I think I'm low-balling myself by how much I charge for my time and supplies. How much should I charge for something like this, among other items that I make.
I charge 1.5-2 times the cost of the materials. 1.5x for large projects and 2x for smaller projects. It would be nice to charge for the labor, but that would make it too expensive, imo. At least this way you cover the materials and make a little on the side.
Is anyone else having a hard time finding this yarn in stores? I know Melanie said its exclusive to Joann's, but 3 of the nearest ones to me do not carry it.😞

Lovely scarf. Great video very informative. I think you should consider being a hand model. Omg gorgeous hands and nails.

Cool.👍🏼
How much yarn did this take?
❤❤❤

Have you tried - on line? Sometimes I find mine at Michael's, too...
Can I make it with a smaller yarn?
Marisoe Maldonado wondering also?
You should do how to crochet a doily
I would love to be able to do that but it looks so complicated
How do i print out this pattern?
This yarn is not available in joannes stores, disappointed!
Oh, no. I was counting on it. It's a # 7, so I'll have to look around. We don't have a lot of options here.
Hmmm it was at my local Joann fabric store and they have it online :)
