Great ideas for scraps!! I have been using my batting scraps along with all my fabric scraps to stuff dog beds that I donate to the local shelter. Many friends give me their scraps too so I'm able to make several for the shelters! I was given a bunch of upholstery fabric that I use for the outside!!

I do the same thing! I put ALL of sewing scraps (fabric, batting, thread) in a pillowcase, stitch it up on the end and makes a nice dog/cat bed.

Hi Melanie. Great video. You look wonderful & I pray that is a sign that you are healing nicely. Please update us again when you have news. We care & love you.
If you haven’t made a video on this, I’d love to have you show us how to make some things for crochet. Like for instance a roll type pouch for our different hooks, a bag for current projects, a way to keep our yarn flowing like a yarn bowl but out of fabric maybe. Just ideas for you. Also, a video on how you store your yarn. My mom taught me some basic crochet when I was younger but I hadn’t worked on anything in years. Until I saw your berry stitch blanket. I’m working on it now. Thanks for sharing your gifts with us. ❤️🥰💕

I use mine for quilt as you go blocks in different sizes, and this year I made quilt as you go Christmas ornaments following a tutorial. I can't remember what channel the tutorial was on, but I want to say Shabby Fabrics. I'm not sure if that's right though. The ornaments use a tiny 3"x3" scrap of batting. If I can find it I'll come back and add to my comment. :) Love all of your ideas too!

It was very helpful. I’m going to cut some scraps tomorrow for dusting. Pat Sloan told about using a piece in your stiffer flat mop. There are push places on all 4 corners and that’s how you secure it. You guys have some great ideas. Tfs. 👏🏻💕👏🏻

Hot Pads are a great way to use up scraps...you can seam a few pieces together for this and it would not matter as the project is so smalll and you would most likely be quilting quite a few lines on in for stability.

Another way to attach your batting together if you’re out of the tape is use strips of Fusible Interfacing. I bought a bolt when I was doing T-shirt quilts for someone and it’s a light weight and I cut in about 1 inch strips and I keep them in a bag and whenever I run into a problem where I need to add a piece of batting I just get those out they work great

Thanks for the ideas. When I use batting for stuffing, I cut in 12” squares or whatever then I just kinda tear down from the top. Some pieces are big and some are small. It doesn’t really matter cause you just stuff it😂I really really enjoy your channel. Thanks
