Thanks for comparing these two. Pad thai is good but we prefer pad kee mao :) Anyways we tried numerous pad thai places and were not impressed and didn't get the hype. On our second trip I stumbled across thipsami and we decided to try the best and it was definitely the best compared to all the ones we tried. We ate at thipsami again a couple years later in I think iconsiam and it was still great. I have been wondering if there was pad thai even better and hoping even if we found a better spot we would be able to compare the two and you guys made that happen for us so we really appreciate this video and benefitted from it! Fai Ta Lu is #1. Cant beat the smoky taste they have and the quality of pork. Thipsamai isn't even good to me, way too fishy tasting.
