Great recommendations!

I was there years ago. It's a very beautiful quiet town. There's also a beautiful beach nearby. I had the crab rice with some side dishes and they were absolutely delicious -- savory but delicious!

for satay, a stall in bukit indah at hook sang restaurant is a much better satay and cheaper too. Thick and rich flavor and thick peanut sauce. For the kacang pool, there is also a food stall in plaza larkin food court which also have plenty of warung with variety of malay dishes which are not too bad.

You were lucky..our experience at Som tum jay soh was horrendous! Non peak hour yet our grilled pork neck ( 80 % fat) salad was lack lustre and chocken wings were drenched in nothing but salt. Never going again.

I liked their raw oysters, and when available their roast lamb.

Love this! I often crack a couple of raw eggs over my rice dishes right before eating. I'm a really big fan of it! I really enjoy the rich texture the eggs give to the meal.

WOW! I don't like eggs at all. I think it's gross to eat another animals eggs. I found it hard to watch you guys eat. If they're put on my plate, I'll lose my appetite & won't be able to eat anything on the plate.
