- The Golden State Warriors went up 3-0 on the Denver Nuggets last night with a 118-113 win in game 3. Reigning MVP Nikola Jokić recorded 37 points and 18 rebounds however Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Jordan Poole combined for 80 Points as Golden State is now 1 win away from advancing to the Western Conference Semis. Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe discuss if the Warriors have become the favorite out west.

100% agree. Steph Curry, Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson are the best leaders and teammates in basketball. Its not a coincidence that everybody who come to the team maximizes their abilities. They create a culture where everybody fits , and develop young talent.

Jordan Poole I think is evidence that the real legacy of the warriors-the current leadership/owners, and Steph-is the culture they have built and the player development that stems from that. I really think it begins with a humble and likable star with an off the charts work ethic, but that mentality has spread throughout the entire organization. It’s more Popovich than MJ, but it’s fun to see and it’s hard not to root for them
The older players take pride in helping the youngsters identify their strengths, work on their weaknesses, increase their basketball IQ, and develop into pros in the Golden State system and culture.
The core is not selfish at all. If it was other stars they don't want others to shine brighter than them. We gotta give props to Curry, Thompson And Green for that.

Unfortunately for people, there is no pressure on Steph or Klay. I doubt they ever thought they would come back to an elite level again after injury. There's nothing more frightening than two all time greats who have a 'nothing to lose' and no pressure attitude.
There may be no pressure, but they had every expectation of being elite again. Klay said it multiple times, and Steph warned everyone last year, that nobody's going to want to see them.
Now, they're just keeping that energy in dominant fashion and proving it one game at a time.

I thought maybe they’d do it to fill the gaps in the roster because 3 of them didn’t seem to be a thought. Poole was starting to come off the bench and he was just too good to be coming off there. But they work and they work well. So thank god for that.
