Steph Curry had a game-high of 43 points as the Warriors outscored the Celtics by 15 points in the second half in their 107-97 victory. The thing that Skip always fails to credit/realize with Stephen is that he draws so much attention which makes it way easier for his teamates to get open looks. He makes everyone around him better effortlessly. And with that being said, under his leadership has willed the team back to the finals yet again.

It’s actually incredible to see how Skip can totally diminish a player’s incredible performance. Steph went for 43 on 50% shooting from both the floor and three and AFTER klay’s shot he scored the next 6-8 points to extend the lead. So yes, Klay’s shot was clutch but the next points scored, ALL BY STEPH, is what actually won them the game
If it wasn't for Klay's three, they lose. So? If it wasn't for Steph's point total, the Warriors lose too. 🤷♂️

Golden State is absolutely gonna win this series in 6 games as they're playing for something a lot bigger than the youngsters on Boston's roster is playing for. The Warriors are aiming to continue their pursuit of being remembered as perhaps the greatest dynasty in the history of the NBA. They're not there yet even if they win their 4th in 8 years but over the next 5 years they can certainly get there.

So here's my problem, steph is definitely leading all players in the finals in 4th quarter scoring. And yeah, it's also been a struggle for him to score in the 4th quarter through the first 3 games. Skip tried using that against him. Everyone in this series is struggling in the 4th quarter because these are 2 amazing defenses. The Celtics are being called all time great and the warriors were second to them in the regular season. In the 4th, defenses are allowed to get away with a little more and both defenses were on display in that game
Skip is also conveniently omitting that Curry didn’t even play the 4th quarter in game 2 because it was a blowout and GS brought in their bench because they had the win secured. So you can’t even count the 4th quarter of that game.

In the finals, we are averaging almost 30 ppg in the paint. Our efficiency has dropped and despite being a team where our 3 point shooting is weaponized to create open looks in the paint, we've struggled scoring because of an amazing all time defense that we're going against. I have a huge amount of respect for this Celtics team

Tatum is not who y'all are making him out to be he is a star, Steph is a superstar and he's being defended extremely well by the warriors. An unnoticed fact that is going under the radar is the highly improved defense of klay game by game. Also Steph was fouled consistently and no calls. Warriors blew out the Celtics in game 2

Like I said, if smart and horford put up consistent numbers, tatum can focus on his game. But they couldn't. So he had to also play the PG role. Gotta agree with Skip on one thing. I just don't see Tatum as being "The Man" on that team, and I'm way more scared of Jaylen Brown. Tatum has like 3 moves, and if you shut them down, he can't score. Brown is more athletic, has more ways to score, and when he gets in a "zone", he just wills his way to the hole and gets buckets. Tatum just looks too passive at times, he's not very creative or athletic, and he doesn't display that killer instinct like Jaylen Brown does.

brown has a tendency to get trigger happy. he takes bad shots. looks lost sometimes.
Critics want to focus more on Jalen and then let tatum eat if he got it or not
Watch next time where they each score from. Watch how Tatum has to usually fight 2-3 guys and brown only has to play 1v1

Steph is a beast. He fascilitates the entire offense. Even when he doesn't score he's executing other roles nearly flawlessly.
What does Steph do. Layups, 3's, assists, finds Klay for a shot, and finds Draymond in 4 vs 3 situations, a decent amount of rebounds, fast breaks.
Sure he has streaks of both good and bad. Kerr has always placed an extremely heavy load on Steph. 3 championship rings and many Final series resulting in close losses proves Steph can handle all that is asked of him.
Does he always succeed? No. But the amount of times he does is remarkable.
Skip is the only person in the world that will truly attempt to diminish a 40pt 10rb finals performance lol
Another point that people don't realize, is that when GS hits 3s, it forces the opposing team to match it. In the player's minds, they don't want to trade 2s for 3s. It makes offenses panic if they can't hit 3s. Not hitting 3s makes you want to shoot more you not putting as many points on the board while GS popping 3s.
Which is so stupid. They win game 4 if they attack the basket. They have the size, especially when warriors play small. Much better than missing a million 3s.

It’s more than 3’s tho. In game 4 both teams made exactly 15 threes. GSW took 5 more 3’s than Boston did. Boston really got beat on the boards and points in the paint. GSW can win other ways. The 3’s always seem to go in when they need to and you look up and they’re up 20.
